It is almost as though they are trying to sell one as a result of the other.

I know many bikers whose command of the English language is far better than that.

This is not the first setback for the group. An August 28, 2013 Facebook posting warned participants to avoid fraudulent websites set up to collect donations for the event. At least one participant, a 62 year old Vietnam veteran on limited income, was duped by scammers. Organizers of the event have stated on the Facebook page that no donations are required, and that the funding for the event has already been supplied. Previous to that, the group had to contend with rumors that the entire event was a hoax.

This seems to be a bit misleading. From that fabulous graphic, it implies that the bikers were told they cannot ride.

That doesn't seem to be the case.

They were denied a NO STOP permit.

D.C. officials denied their request for a special nonstop ride through town with a waiver for red lights, stop signs and other traffic signals.

“What could have been a one or two hour ride through will now likely be an all day event,” the group said.

So the drama of this whole thing is moot? Figured as much when I saw the name of the person who posted it. I wonder what it's like to live in lostinblue's fantasy world where racism and prejudice rule the mind and if something doesn't fit into the cylinder, just keep distorting it until it does.
