Afternoon / morning to everyone im sure you all know me and sorry to those who have had to put up with my moaning

i just had 2 weeks here in England with nicole it was amazing but today was the day she had to leave

im full of confidence we will get approved even with my little issue of a caution theft of a discarded orange traffic cone (didnt take with intentions to perminatly take) completley not knowing about the crime and if i had known would of disclosed all information on my esta but never knew i had it and had no mental record of it till i got my police records ready for my interview so i did not missrep myself on my vwp i have told the genuine truth all the way through and it is the only thing i have on my record

i still feel the fear but also think its so minor as it was a practical joke i will be fine and sail through

anyways i wish to carry on and give a little info on the medical london knightsbride

being a country boy i hated the hustle and bustle of city life #no tractors :( lol

it took a while to be first seen after handing in all my paperwork it was a last min booking so it was rush rush rush but had everything prepared

chest xray went very well even though it was chilly in the room i was reluctant to get my pasty white body out lol

sat back down with nicole as she was able to be here for it all and 30 mins later was called into the other room was weighed then eye test blood pressure taken then checked the twins for lumps all clear so was very happy then the dreaded blood test <<<<< i hate needles :( then it was all done he said i seem very healthy your all done just payment ( had all my jabs prior to medical ) so was nice and prepared on that too

sorry this wasnt any longer and if its not much help im sorry but overall its a friendly good experience and very professional

ohhhhh my medical was on the 30th of august so not long till i can do my ds forms and such and get ready for an interview

i would like to thank nich nick even though i have been a pain in the ### you have been the best help and would like it if you could still be there for me if i need it

KEEPING THE FAITH AND WERE GOING TO KEEP FIGHTING UNTIL WERE TOGETHER FOREVER TIME IS BUT A WINDOW AND WE WILL GET THROUGH IT

good luck to all those still waiting god bless you all :)

The DS forms are not sent to you and they don't send you a checklist. They send you (a letter - Packet 3) your LND number (which you obviously already have, to have booked your medical) and a link to a website where you can download the forms. This is the website: http://london.usembassy.gov/iv_15.html

You need to follow the instructions as directed on that page.

When you are sent your interview letter (after you have returned all the DS forms) they'll give you instructions on how to pay the visa fee. It's not paid over the phone anymore - it's done online.

"Feeling more upbeat"....... THANK GOD!!

Your instructions are here http://london.usembassy.gov/iv_15.html

Follow them. You skipped to step three already.

Click every link in the middle section and left and right columns. Read every page.

This is what you are supposed to read about your appointment. It is referred to in the appointment letter but nobody seems to bother finding it and reading. http://photos.state.gov/libraries/unitedkingdom/164203/cons-visa/IV019_fiance_appt_letter.pdf. It has the exact instructions of how to pay. Follow them and don't try to have a go on your own. Many have a mess because they didn't do it right. Don't do it until you have your appointment letter no matter how many say they did it early. It won't speed up your interview to do it early. Stick with London's order.

thanks again nich nick

i feel a little albeit slight more confident about getting approved seen as its such a minor thing and it was honest mistakes that were made if i had known it would of been disclosed

i know you belive i will be fine and thats great just wish there was more people in my situation who get approved first time

so you dont think its a good idea to get the forms filled in and ready to send off ????

the only letter i have got was to say they recived our pettition

thanks for all the help

do you still belove il be okay ??? im still worried about the vwp thing a little

Where did I say that? I said go to the website and follow the process. Forms are before medical.

Step one-- FORMS. Do them. Mail them.

I said wait for an appointment before PAYING.

the only letter i have got was to say they recived our pettition

And it says more than that if it came from London. It says to go to a link (which I posted and so did lost at sea) to find the steps you need to take. That is your "Packet 3"....a letter with a link. There is nothing more to wait for now. The ball is in your court. No interview letter until you complete their steps. Read carefully.

I fully concur with the content and tone of your comment ;-) I was boring and did it exactly how they asked..

Mind you - that page tells readers about the change to DS260 but still lists the old docs and provides no links to the DS260
