Confuse about AOS card production/decision!

Hi everybody!

I know I have read this on previous threads, but I still wanted to make sure. I am adjusting from a K1 visa. On September 5th USCIS changed my status online to card production, the next day it change to decision and today (Sept 10) it's back at card production. We haven't received any emails or text messages about all those changes. I was very excited the first day my status changed as we are now past 8 months of waiting but I am confused about all the changes in the website! Does this mean I will be receiving my green card on the mail soon? How long does it usually take?

It is usually a good sign that you will receive your GC soon. My wife and stepson's status changed in the same way as you described. Check our signature for dates. The USCIS site is not very reliable.

Happened the same to me when I was finally approved without interview. I got the notification through text msg and email on a saturday morning, on wednesday I got the welcome letter and by saturday I got my gc. Just 7 days

That happened to me. It changed about 3 times. I got multiple texts stating that my card was in production about a week after my card arrived. Kinda crazy!

Same here! This Monday I got an email stating that my case was approved, yesterday it changed to card production, and today went back to decision.. I was puzzled and kinda scared until I read your post, but I'll wait to get another "card production" email, and then I guess the GC por fin!

My status changed again yesterday saying that USPS picked up my card from USCIS and the tracking number says I should receive it tomorrow! I am sooo excited!

Status changed back to Card Production yesterday.. I guess my GC is on its way!
