Hi i was given a 221(g) form saying they refused to inform me that our application cannot be accepted it was denied for some reason. She stamped my US tourist visa with "cancel without prejudice" i was thinking everyjing was good and she kept our passports . And told us yo wait for a few weeks. What does it mean.? Told us to go home and wait. Urgggg this is such a pain.. I dont know what is the decision and what is missing. Do you know how long does it take for them to communicate after getting that administrative processing?

Hi,

USCIS is clearing administrative processing as soon as possible. You will require to call USCIS office to to know about your case status.

Unusual for a Canadian to have a tourist Visa. Why?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Does it mean they sent my application back to USCIS?

There can be various reason why your case was put in AP. AP could be due to origin of your country, your prof etc.

AP can take weeks or months.. there is no fixed time limit on AP.

Which country's citizenship do you hold?
