Alright, so my interview is tomorrow.

I am very nervous, and keep worrying that the documents I'm bringing are incomplete, or wrong and what not ><.

It feel like my whole future is in the hands of the person who's going to interview me, and on those papers.

So, it seems that more and more consulates are asking now to fill for DS-260 instead of DS-230. And that it's supposed to be a change that's effective for all of them since the beginning of september, but they just haven't updated their page? ... Well, for Montreal it still lists DS-230 OR DS-260, but it has not been updated in a few months.
So I figured... well I might as well just fill it too, today, just in case. But now I worry that if I do, it will update my case file and that they'll cancel my appointment, or it will cause problem at the interview. Gaaah!! I don't know what to do D: I really hate feelign like that crying.gif

You will do just fine smile.png

How about emailing or calling the consulate today? Ask them about the form thing.

Phone (General): 514-398-9695

Edit:

Also do what makes you feel better and more confident about your case. If yours will be anything like my girls you'll go with a lot of excess paperwork and only need a fraction of it. Though peace of mind is much more important, right?

You will do great! You have made it this far so you are definitely doing the right things :) Just breathe and smile.

As far as paperwork, if you have already submitted yours and have the interview scheduled, there should not be any reason to fill out a different form than what you already submitted. Just bring whatever copies of EVERYthing you have submitted.

Good luck!!

Please let me ask here. My interview will be Oct 1, 2013 at Montreal.

In Packet 4,

*** IMPORTANT *** Interview Reminders
================================================================================
? Applicants may need to bring an additional police certificate to the interview. If the following three items
are all true, the applicant needs to bring an updated police certificate to the interview:
? He or she is more than 16 years old;
? He or she obtained a police certificate more than one year ago; and
? He or she still lives in the country that issued the police certificate.

Do I need a updated police certificate from Canada again? The police certificate that I submitted to NVC was dated Dec 29, 2012.

Thank you.

Nope. They're accepted in Montreal for a year from issue.
