After calling for three weeks to the NVC and being told it could take 8 weeks we received our MNL #. Like Hank says, it can take upwards of a month to get your MNL#. Best time to call is 7:05am East Coast Time, one ring and your in. If your answer is nothing then give it another 24 hours and call again.

Best advise is relax and know the process is working but taking a little more time.

Good Luck to all

Waiting also....NOA2 August 27. I've called NVC several times but was on "hold" for over an hour each time with no one answering so I hung up. The USCIS website status still says "Post Decision Activity" - petition approved, but it doesn't say anything about it being shipped to the NVC. Is there a special email or text you get which will say when or if its shipped to NVC???? God Bless us all.

USCIS site won't state your petition has shipped.

When calling NVC either call early, 7:30 AM or 5:00PM and later eastern time.

We had the same delay and after 8 weeks of me calling over and over they finally told me to send an email about it with our case number and information to nvcresearch@state.gov. They responded about a week later saying they would contact USCIS on my behalf. NVC received it within a few days after that. If you've waited 3 weeks or more I say just email nvcresearch and/or call USCIS and try to get escalated to the next level of support. It should not take so long to send something in the mail...
