Ive been assembling my package for quite some time now and Im finally DONE!!!!! before I ran to the post office I went on uscis.gov to double check all the forms and fees,and thank GOD I did!!! there are new I485 and I765 forms.I wasnt sure if the older editions will be accepted and I re-filled out the new ones and replaced them in my package.

So just a friendly reminder to all of you preparing your AOS package- always go back and double check fees and forms ect..

09-10-13 (day 00) : AOS Package sent

09-12-13 (day 02) : Package delivered

09-17-13 (day 07) : Texts / emails received

09-23-13 (day 13) : Only one NOA hard copy received

10-07-13 (day 27) : NOA hard copy for I 485 received (NOA for I 130 still missing)

10-09-13 (day 29) : Biometrics letter FAXED, appointment for 10-11-13

10-11-13 (day 31) : Biometrics done

10-23-13 (day 43) : Online status changed to "testing and interview"

10-28-13 (day 48) : Interview appointment letter received - Nov 27th

11-12-13 (day 63) : EAD online status changed to "card production"

11-21-13 (day 72) : EAD card received in mail

11-27-13 (day 78) : AOS interview-approved!

12-02-13 (day 83) : "Welcome to America" letter received

12-04-13 (day 85) : Green card received

same experience here.... it wasn't the forms for me. It was some of the supporting docs that I thought I had included on I-130 and I-485.

I wasn't going to triple check, as I had double checked already after I had made copies of everything. I was really surprised.

And I personally think that if each applicant did that, it would avoid REFs unless a document was purposely left out.

just my 2cents.

09/03/2013 - NOA hard copies received

09/09/2013 - Received Biometrics Appointment for 9/25
09/13/2013 - Text/Email for RFE (I-864 & I-94)

09/16/2013 - Completed Biometricks (Walk In)

(Long gap in sending RFE back because I had to complete I-94 application and tried to wait for decision but ended up submitting RFE for I-864 with I-94 NOA)

11/29/2013 - RFE response sent

12/30/2014 - EAD received

01/06/2014 - I-94 Approved!!!!!
02/06/2014 - Interview (had to go back to civil surgeon to re-do paperwork and make sure this time he signs it. Took care of it that very same day and dropped it off at the USCIS office the following morning.
02/14/2014 - Green card received!!!

the expiration of all of these forms is clearly documented on the form itself. it doesn't matter if there is a new form available if the old one is still within its validity date

4/19/2013 Case status available - APPROVED!
