Hey! some of those 50% xmas decorations reminded me of costumes!!! there were silver and gold things, hehe! I got some fake garlands to hang around my gate outside . . . all plastic stuff basically! Oh, I got a couple of things to hang stockings too . . . they are just narrow enough to sit up on the brick ledge above my fireplace. One of these days I am going to find a mantle piece . . . big crown moulding maybe??

The eye is still puffy but it is starting to become less noticeable and not so itchy . . . hopefully tomorrow it will be less bothersome so I won't drop my sword due to balancing problems, hehe!!

I got my passport back today from the Egyptian embassy with my visa stamp in it. I swear I was so excited I think my face must have almost split in two from the smile I had. I can't wait to go!!!!!

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

-Qur'an, Al-Infitar, Surah 82:1-5
