Hi guys,

Has anybody here applied for a Marriage based Green Card and had your case sent to the National Benefits Center (also known as MSC) ?? Can you please share your processing time with us? Specifically for your Employment Authorization?

We'd be very grateful. Thank you so much.

Depending on when you filed your I-130, it appears that most CR1 visas are taking approximately 8 - 9.5 months for decision on your I-130, before it is sent to the NVC. There once was a time when if you the USC were residing abroad with your family the I-130 process was faster but then seems to have taken the back seat.

I file back in April and still am waiting for I-130 to be finished processing and there are many that have filed back in February and still are awaiting decisions.

All the AOS cases are sent to the NBC. The EAD and AP are processed there. If you are not adjusting from a K-1(only those adjusting from a K-1 have a chance not to interview), then your case will be sent to your local USCIS office for an interview,
