I've never heard of anyone being told they are on final AP - is this what it says on the CEAC tracker or did someone at the embassy tell you that?

I was browsing this site for 2 months now , you can say it's an experience i got from people's blog writing on this site... well anyways i was right ... 12th sep 2013 we all got ISSUED on our case status..

How do u know its final ap? ?

i have been reviewing this site for 2 months and it's an idea or experience i got from you guys writing here .... and hell Yeah .. i was right today on 13th Sep 2013 my status is ISSUED

HI Guys...

on 12th may 2012 : we got e-mail confirmation that we won DV lottery visa

on 12th April 2013 : we send visa forms to KCC

on 18th May 2013 : we got our interview appointment letter thru e-mail

on 3rd july 2013 : we went for interview and approved (verbally) and was told that we will get our passports within 7-10 working days

on 5th july 2013 : we were put on AP

on 27th Aug 2013 : status changed to READY

on 11th Sep 2013 : status changed to AP ( this time its different from 1st AP)

on 12th Sep 2013 : status changed to ISSUED.... Finally

Thanks Mona and congratulation!! My husband status was changed 4 times.. It remained Ap but date changed 4 time right after his interview. It hasn't changed for while now.. I hope and pray to hear some good news soon!

HI Everyone,

We(me , hubby and 3 kids) had interview on 3rd july after long paper work and medical , Then we are on AP after interview Than status changed to READY and again READY and Again AP , But 3 kids are still on 1st READY ,the status changed recently but still says READY ( book your appointment ) as the Diversity issuance is gonna expire on 30th Sep 2013 , We all are worried about kids,

I am also a DV 2013 winner but in lessthan 2 weeks the 2013 dv period will be over, I had my interview in December 2012 but still I am on AP status, any I dea what they want to do to my case, say something anybody

I am also a DV 2013 winner but my case is still on AP status in Senegal, 2 weeks more for our application to be expired, anybody has any idea what is going to happen to our case. They still said they will contact us but no visa issued yet. Please comment.

It's clearly mentioned on US state gov website that 'DV 2013 Diversity Immigration visa will not be issued after 30th Sep 2013".

As you mentioned above your interview was on Dec 2012, What does that AP says? i mean says "your case is under necessary AP this my takes several weeks ..."? if yes then you still have chance,if till 30th sep 2013 your status did not change then i would suggest you to apply for DV 2015 after 1st oct 2013(does not cost anything) , lottery will open again.

hi,

It takes 2-3 weeks to get interview letter after submitting the visa forms and your interview date could be 4-6 weeks after submitting forms

I actually did my interview already in December 2012 I was approved and then placed on AP status, now I am just waiting for them to call me and then issue my visa if possible but I am worried as today is the 18th, twelve more days for our 2013 application to be expired. I hope they get to us soon.

It depends on your case number, example 2014...........AF0000120 which means 120 among 50,000 receive their interview earlier, use your confirmation number to check your account every week beginning this October 2013. The 2014 DV interview will start in early November 2013. Please continue checking your account using ur case number. I hope this help.
