Just called NVC, they said that my case was under additional processing...

Is additional processing the same as administrative processing?

Good luck! My case have been under Administrative processing at NVC since the 23rd of August. I hope they send it out soon, but they do not even want to say an approximate of when it could be sent out.

It is supposedly normal for them to check it, though I prefer them to check it well before it leaves to Santo Domingo, because they could be a pain sometimes over there...

When the petition is in DR already the status online will be changed to "Ready" and it will give you the date the case was created and the date it was updated to "Ready".

We have to pray because they are taking a long time for everything in Santo Domingo... As of today my case is still at NVC and no clue of what is going on. Not even at the Department of State they could tell me anything regarding this matter, but in God I trust that this will change soon!
