What ever the purpose of CFO; I think its just pure BS!.

They wouldn't give the sticker to my fiancée because she didn't understand what BS meant in BS Business

They also didn't believe her when she said my job was Voice Engineer; #######?

now she goes back Tuesday - they told her its the last chance

I even sent me tax returns but of course they didn't ask for them -- such BS!

I feel sorry for you that you have experienced as such in CFO... I understand how frustrating it was... i had my CFO just a week ago and everything went well...

Well, all i can say is... We have no choice other than to go thu with this CFO thing... Just tell ur fiance to be more ready next time... She can reason out and explain during the one on one interview and she should be more confident.

On my observation and experience... They scrutinized more... Not only with ur answers but also with the documents u will show them...

Good luck!

The corruption is deeper than this site has let on. My fiancée had spoken to many participants after the interview and they all said they tipped

The general theme was p500 for passing the one-one and p1000 if they fail you. I told her to have p2000 ready. Hand p1000 to them before the interview starts and maybe they won't even ask any questions; if they still fail her hand over a second p1000

Funny - I told my fiancée to tip the person if she didn't get the sticker - but of course she didn't

After - she heard other interviewees tipping the ladies and receiving their rightful sticker

Lesson learned - she will bribe tip next time

Ahhh maybe she attending her cfo counseling in the morning session, because the cfo counseling is the lady... , Well sorry the lady counseling is honest for her work, she not accept money just to release her sticker...yes your right you heard like tipping or offer little money for food..., but not in the lady...For my expercienced the cfo counseling in the afternoon the tall man, he did not want to give me also my certificate for some reason, but i tried to convince him,.. then suddenly he said if im williing to give 1000 pesos for food, and of course i replied a big yes....

I had a post a few weeks back that my fiancee' took the CFO class

The guy in the 1 on 1 said she should come back another day for more 1 on 1

My fiancée said she would not leave without the certificate....since we had all plane reservations set for her future interview visit to manila

The guy wanted a bribe...but did not say how much (for lunch for him and his buddies)

She offered 500 and got the certificate

We had NO idea of the bribe situation there....I wish I was aware and she could just have been ready mentally

crooks

the lady is taking bribes tips now too. My fiancée had her today and paid p500 for the stickers

She was told by other participants, who were denied, they paid p1000 to the lady for approval/sticker

what a racket -- 70 slots per day -- 35 participants pay for sticker -- p500 each -- p17,500/day

they must be driving Mercedes

Its all in my rear view mirror now

None of my Fiancee's group had any problems like this, so I guess they got lucky. It's more plausible that these girls are fooling their fiances, lining their pockets and blaming the CFO. I could even see some asking for expenses from multiple guys and not even going to the CFO.

If you want to be so quick to assume widespread corruption in the Philippines, you need to include those at the lowest levels as well...
