Hi Aquarian:

yeah I got the same thing and is dated for one year. I dont know what is going on to tell you the truth and worried me a little. Well if you get it let me know and if I do i will do the same. Hope yours arrive soon because that would mean mine is on the way too.

Regards

Edcol

I will do so. I have moved and i am running around just to change my address. I went 2 times to federal plaza and called 800 number they always just give me confirmation number that it willbe changed but it doesnot change. i already sent AR-11 and I-865 form...still no answer...I am concerned coz if they send card to another place then again problem. i dont know what to do.

I hear ya.., we also want to move but we decided to wait until that card comes because I do not want it to get lost or whatever.. Keep going to your old address and check if it arrived there and also when you call, do they say anything about the card being sent?. I went to federal plaza to get the passport stamped too like five weeks ago and she told me it would take between 2 and 6 months... but many people (about 80%) as i have noticed received between 1 to 4 months and about the other 20% after that.

Hi Aquarian:

Well, they say that is not a problem but sometimes people at Airports, specially out of the US they dont know whats going on and they want to see the "card"... so I rather wait for the card lol... it sucks to wait so long ...Well let me know any updates and I hope , think that you should be receiving it really soon.

I wouldn't wait for the card! You'd be waiting forever... My husband has travelled overseas twice with just his stamp. The second time, the incoming immigration officer asked him how his case was going and if it was going slowly as he thinks. It's not a big deal. Nobody asked for the green card since this takes the place. I wouldn't delay any travel on account of not having the card.

No card yet, but we just did biometrics last week. We had to delay twice since he was out of the country both times. Luckily the third was a charm. He was home and my company shuts down between Christmas & New Year's. I still can't believe they have us go all the way in to Boston for something that took all of 15 minutes and could have been done at your local police station (and how many sets of fingerprints do they need anyway??)
