If your case number is 10,5** and they're proceeding 1,800 in October then you won't be proceeded in October.

Keep checking visa bulletin each month to see how quick the numbers are increasing.

I checked previous visa bulletins and in DV-2013 your number had been proceeding in November.

Also check the site where you checked your status (and discovered you won). There will be an info about the date of your interview approximately 6-8 weeks before the interview.

The cases are processed according to number. As the bulletin says, any case with a number below the one published for the month is current, which means you can be scheduled an interview slot (and will be, if you have sent in your forms). Each month the numbers go up, so you need to keep checking and when the number is at or above your number you are due for an interview. A few days after your number becomes current, your esc page will be updated with a letter giving you details of the interview (KCC will send you an email telling you your page has been updated).

I'm also confused by Asia saying your number would have been current in November, it should be much later - I think he may have looked for the wrong region.

Ok so, for DV2013 Asia was current in August, which means all numbers were available for interview. Even if DV2014 does not go current for Asia that soon, if it follows last year's trends I would expect you would get an interview in August or September. I don't think your number is too high, but you probably have a long wait!

Thankyou Susie :)

Thankyou very much. I was really tensed because in DV-2013 Asia Region visa availability ended in 9850.I hope i will get.

Just to emphasize: it did NOT end at 9850. When it goes to "current", as it did from August, that means that *all numbers* can get interviewed. So there was no number limit to availability for DV2013. There are some concerns availability will be more limited this year because so many more winners were drawn, but even so I believe you stand a good chance given your number. Edited by SusieQQQ

I am she, and yes, I looked at the wrong region!

Sorry! I looked at Africa... blush.png

OP, your number in DV-2013 had been proceeded in August. So keep checking visa bulletins to see how the numbers are increasing.
