Hello everybody first of all I'm glad I found this forum. And I hope that I can get some answers of my questions. So here's my situation. We are getting married on September 28, 2013! My future husband is about to join the United Air Force. Currently we both are living in Germany. Now I want to start applying for the visum! He was one of my most important question! Can I send in part one to the consulate in Frankfurt And then wait till he is in Boot Camp so he got some orders where we going to go! Because right now he cannot sign the affidavit of support! Hopefully somebody can answer me some of my questions thank you

Is he going to be stationed in Europe? If he is in the US at the time you will have to wait for your visa before you can join him (also, you have to wait until you are married to file for spousal visa, obviously).

The other thing is that if he would have to have lived in a foreign (not US) country for at least something like 6 months (this number might be off - there should be others who can confirm) in order to to DCF so if he's being sent to somewhere new you will have to do the normal spousal visa route rather than DCF.

+1 post above.

We need some clarifications...

When is he joining the forces?

Where is he going to boot camp?

Do you want to file for a spouse visa or a fiancé visa?

How long have you both lived in Germany?
