Hi everyone,

I'm a permanat resident since 2010 and recieved awhile ago my removal of conditions ( i got a green card till 2023 ).

I'm married to US citizen by birth, we got an almost 4 year old son.

I'm trying to apply for citizenship, what forms do i need to file and of course what documents do i have to provide?

whats the proccessing time for citizenship applications?

You need to fill out N400 Application. Send with that application:

2 photos

copy of both sides of green card

copy of marriage certificate

copy of wife's birth certificate

copy of birth certificate of your son

copy of the last 3 years of tax returns.

money order or check for fees

If you want you can send lease, couple of utility bills, pictures ... (Not as much as ROC)

The processing time for citizenship is pretty short depending on your local office but most are 6 months or less. Some last a little longer depending on how busy they are. Good luck.
