NAO2 Hard Copy

My K1 visa application for my fiancee got approved 09AUG13. I got an email confirmation and I also saw it at uscis.gov. Is it normal that I still don't have the hard copy of the NAO2 yet as of today? Do I need the hard copy? Or we should be good to do the medical and interview as soon as we get the MNL# from DOS and/or NVC?

I have been calling DOS and according to the NVC still don't have our case. I plan to keep calling the until I get out MNL #.

Thank you and God Bless!

Thank you for the response and congratulations on your VISA :)

So that means as long as we have the MNL# we can proceed with the medical at St. Luke's and interview at the USEM without needing any other paperworks from the USCIS and/or the NVC?

Hi since you have your visa in hand ( you finished this part of the process) where can we get the Manila case number once we are approve? Should we call NVC or DOS? Thank you :)

You will be requested to provide a copy of your NOA2 notice later on in the visa process. Keep after USCIS to make sure you get it. The cost of a replacement is ~$405.

There has been some reported instances where the NOA2 email confirmation, with an explanation letter, has been accepted during the AOS process of evidence of petition approval, in lieu of a NOA2 hardcopy. Avoid putting yourself in that position, and more stress, by getting your NOA2 in the first place.

Good luck.

Keep calling the NVC until you get your MNL case number. Once you have your MNL case number, you are good to go: you can pay the visa application at BPI, schedule an interview appointment, complete the medical, and even complete the CFO seminar.

You won't need the USCIS approval notice until she adjusts her status here in the U.S.
