Why wouldn't Russia help syria?

Right now they have their only naval base abroad there.

Do you think if we had our one and only foreign naval base posted there we would want to gamble on some unknown ascending power taking over?

Let me ask you who would you rather be partner to Russia or the USA?

We had a friend in the leader of Egypt for 30 years, he was one of the few leaders over to acknowledge Israel.

A mob formed in the street and what did we do, we told our decades old M.E. partner to "step down".

Syria is now in the same position yet Russia stays with the regime who he made a commitment to.

The term Arab-Spring is roundly considered a joke now, yet Obama wants to give it one more try.

I have said this all along. The rebels were looking for more from the kenyan. than the arms he has sent them. They need boots on the ground, How do you get that done. Pick the sect you want dead the most and gas them. Put the blame on the government and let the real war begin .They get the kenyans air force to do what they cannot. for NOTHING. Al Qaeda will laugh at all the help their enemy has sent to them. The muslim in chief has all of you duped. Five years from now the people you helped win Syria will be fighting the US.
