No, why would you do that? Embassy folks already know when you're scheduled for the interview.

To reschedule - send an email:

SUBJECT: Reschedule of Interview Request - your Tunisia Case number

Proide important infor: your full name, date of birth and case number.

Then you tell them you are scheduled for 9/13 at whatever time you were scheduled

Due to whatever, you request rescheduling of the interview for a later date.

Sincerely

visa applicant so and so

You can follow up with a phone call the next day to make sure email is recei

thank you for the reply , ur help is much apperciated

Depending on your Embassy, I would think very hard about rescheduling the interview. For us it was rescheduled for 1 week later and we rescheduled because the medical and police certificate were not yet ready. Just remember that you may not get another interview for several months. The petition approval does have an expiration date and you are supposed to have the interview before that date, but the Embassy may extent the petition's expiration date. Given the waiting times in this process, I would think very hard about rescheduling and understand the consequences of doing so.

For our Embassy, I just called and then sent an e-mail requesting a different date. The only real "problem" will be when they reschedule you for the interview. It may be in a few weeks or in a few months. Might want to ask them before rescheduling just so you know how much longer the wait will be.

Good luck,

Dave

I have to cancel my wifes interview. We only had 5 days notice of the interview date and it was not possible for her to attend. Per the Embassy's informational web page, I emailed the Ankara embassy. I did not hear back from them for three weeks, well after the interview, and they acknowledged it was cancelled and they they issued a new date. It was stressful because I did not hear from them for the three weeks, but everything was fine.

Contact the Embassy/consulate where the interview is to take place by whatever way they specify. You should not have any problems with this.

I also mailed to the embassy and to ask for an extension of the k-1. the original interview was actually 1 week after the date on the NOA1, so I has going to be sending this anyhow, but our July interview turned into a December interview so be prepared to wait.

Good Luck.

You will get a better response by emailing the person who sent you the packet and interview information. You should be able to reschedule.
