I mailed off my K-1 visa on Friday September 6th…which was yesterday. I mailed it express mail and it was supposed to be delivered today but of course they are closed on the weekend. I just needed to make sure it got there quickly. I am already nervous….I am just hoping everythings goes smoothly. If you could please post your experiences that would be greatly appreciated!!!

Good Luck! We sent our packet on Thursday, the 8th of August, it was delivered on a Saturday (via tracking USPS), and we had our NOA1 on the 16th, so just over a week after mailing! Just waiting for our NOA2 now... =)

Timeline:
(All that silly romance stuff first heart.gif )
June 2011 - We started talking online
April 2012 - He came to visit in the US
August 2012 - I went to visit him in the UK
December 2012 to January 2013 - He came for Xmas and New Years

March 2013 - I went to visit him in the UK
June and July 2013 - He came to visit in the US

June 29, 2013 - He asked me to marry him!!
October 2013 - I visited him in the UK
January 2014 - He's coming to visit for 3 weeks!

Our Visa Journey:

Sent our I-129f packet: August 8, 2013
Received NOA1: August 16, 2013
Received NOA2: September 27, 2013

NVC Received: ??
NVC Left: November 6, 2013 (electronic copy)
Consulate Received: ??

Met in 2006 through a pen pal website for school-aged kids when we were 15!
Kept in touch a bit for 4.5 years
02-2011 -Started talking about how to make a relationship work
06-06-2011- Met in Chicago and became a couple, finally!
07-18-2011- I flew back with him to England to meet his family
11-23-2011- He stays with my family and me for three months!
05-16-2012- I flew to England to be with him for a month.
07-15-2012- He flies back to me for another 3 months
12-17-2012- I fly over to England to be with him for 5 months
04-05-2013- We took a trip to Rome, and he asks me to marry him in St. Peter's Square!!!
04-25-2013- I-129F Sent to Dallas Lockbox
05-09-2013- He comes back to visit me for nearly 2 months
07-03-2013- I go back ONE last time, while our I-129F is processing
07-17-2013- Our petition is approved only 79 days later!! kicking.gif

Hello! We are late August/early September filers too :) I was actually wondering if we had a thread for this month yet... Anyway. Our NOA1 came through on September 3rd and its in the Texas service center. Praying it goes very quickly and no RFEs but I'm sure everyone prays for that too lol.

Quick question, does anyone know how to check if a file has been 'touched'? Or is that available later in the process?

09/04/14 - EAD Card Approved!

09/11/14 - EAD Card Received

02/27/15 - Greencard Approved!

03/09/2017 - Biometrics
02/15/2018 - Extension Stamp in Passport at Local Office

Hello all,

I sent my I-129 package on September 3rd and it arrived to Dallas Lockbox on 5th, guess starting Monday I will get an answer.
