I also sent I-765 application of employment authorization with the I-485, which was also has a separate receipt number from the I-485.

Does the I-765 gets approved after the Biometrics? or is independant of the pending I-485?

I-765 gets approved in about 3 months. You will need biometrics before it is approved (all the same appointment).

Yes, it is after biometrics. I received mine about a week after my interview, so it was totally worthless!

No, early bio does not speed anything up. It will not help.

Not that you asked for my opinion, but you are way too super antsy about this it is going to take a while. You will have to wait. That's just how it is. The more you think that you have super secrets and will be able to be done in a few weeks, the more you will become angry and despondent. Don't think you have super secrets because you don't. Enjoy life with your wife and forget about timelines.

Here is what USCIS explanation:

During the acceptance step USCIS reviews newly received applications and petitions to ensure that they are properly filed (i.e. signed by the applicant, appropriate fees, etc.) USCIS issues a receipt number for the application or petition, and sends a receipt notice to the applicant or petitioner.

Applications and petitions that are not properly filed are rejected with an explanation of why the application is rejected and the corrective action needed. Rejected applications or petitions do not retain their filing date.

The acceptance step is typically completed within 2 business days of when the application is received. With mail time it may take several weeks for you to get the receipt or rejection notice in the mail. If you do not receive your notice within 30 days of mailing your application, please contact our national customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Since my spouse's application was accepted 3 business days ago, and is still in acceptance stage, does this mean possible RFE? or is this all blanket statement talk?

It will be another month or two before they even look at your file to send out RFE's. If you have received your NOA1, your application has been accepted. The thing you will do most in this process is wait.

Your online case is going to sit at acceptance until it goes to approval. All those bubbles look cool but they don't actually work or do anything.

Not at all, but I have discussed how counting the days is just going to lead to craziness and disappointment already.

The next step is waiting for biometrics, as I said. The online system is unreliable and often wrong.

The within 2 business days was the time from when they received it until they sent out the NOA1.

You'll get a biometric letter in about a week or so. It will tell you when to get them done. Doing it early doesn't speed things up but my wife did hers early and I would suggest to everyone to do them early out of convenience sake. I have heard of i485 denials because a biometric appointment was missed, things come up so doing it early means that there is no worries...but I'm OCD.
