Hello guys, today is my bday and yesterday I got the appointment, waiting time till Oct 11, I would have loved to ask this question in the Mexican portal but didn't know how.

Anyway, I need to book my flight so I was thinking flying Tuesday, on Wed the medical exams, Thu I have the biometric info and Fri the interview at 7:10,

My question is; do you think I will be done by 1 pm? I do not want to stay another day if is not necessary, you see I will be going alone, fiance HAS to work as he isn't quitting and will be asking free time already for the honeymoon, mom wanted to go with me but it she can't do anything and will be just wasting money.

So will I be done by 1 pm as my flight would be taking off at 3 pm?

thanks in advance

If you are the only beneficiary (no kids) its ok your timing for medical and biometrics, in the case of the interview, some are done in two hours and some have to wait longer... i don't know if i would recommend to make a flight confirmation in the middle of the day, is there any other time to fly back? maybe another airline??? or at least book your flight in an airline that allow you to reschedule with a little fee???

I love you Charles forever!!

Portals just organize posts into one place based on the country listed in their profile. So, any post made anywhere on VJ by those with Mexico listed will show up in the Mexican Portal. To make a post in the regional forum, you need to go to that forum and make a new post there, like you have done here. This is the regional forum that includes Mexico > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/96-mexico-latin-south-america/

I would not buy a ticket for that time. Some people wait hours to get their interview done. You just never know if you will be one that gets out fairly quickly, or one that has to wait longer. I would not chance it. Even if you came out at 1, you still need to go back to your hotel to get your belongings and then get to the airport in time. With traffic and having to be at the airport early for check in, I think you might be cutting things way too close. Can you not schedule your return flight for the evening on that day? Giving yourself at least a few more hours would be best.

No, I can't there are no other flights :( but you know whatever is just one more little thing that I need to take as it is, just with the hope that I will finally be with him, no more goodbye for a long period of time. So better be safe and fly back till Saturday.

And yeah I'm going solo, so I check other people reviews and I will be doing one thing per day. Can't wait :)
