Jeanette was approved today shes dead tired right now, I just wanted to let everyone know her interview went fine.

Also congratulations to Bhu! Hers was approved too.

More details to come after Jeanette gets here and is all rested up. We both appreciate all of the help we have received from everyone here at VisaJourney, Couldn't have done it without you guys!

Yup - Jeannette and I were both approved! The lady actually had us both up at the window together saying we were approved to get married. Of course not to each other ;) LOL!

Jimmy the American, there was no need to line up at all...so just walk right up to the guard and let him know that you're there for a K1 and he'll let you right through! Good luck tomorrow - I know you'll be just fine!

The interview was just along the lines of what Mercy reported except the lady seemed a bit frazzled since she had a doctor's appt to go to. She had us both wait after our interviews without telling us we were approved. But basically it was so she could process our passports right away and we didn't have to come back (because she needed to leave early!)

The Consul who does the interview is very nice and asked the typical questions about how we met, whether I've visited him and met his family. A bunch of questions about my affidavit since Neil is self-employed. He spent the most amount of time looking at his tax returns.

Otherwise it was smooth sailing!

Thanks to everyone here on this site - you guys kept me sane!
