Hi, I am currently filling out the DS-230 PART 1 Form and have a question I hope someone can help me with:

Question 22: List below all employment for the last ten years.

Now that is a broad one. I have worked many jobs in that time, almost all of them short temp jobs most of which I have no idea the dates i started and finished. I have the dates for the main ones.

Is it really necessary to detail EVERY job you have worked? or should I be fine with putting at least what I put on my G-325A form?

I need to get this form sent off ASAP and dont have the time to find out all these details from the inland revenue, if they can even tell me that information?....

I don't *think* they check this in depth, but I would of course be as accurate as I possibly could.

We'll see who else happens along in here and can give a more definite opinion.

I just put the details of the main jobs I have done, just like I have done in my CV. And instead of having gaps in employment I just lengthened some of the jobs instead. I dont think they have the time to check all the jobs you have ever worked at, they dont seem to have time to give out interviews!!! lol. Dont worrry about it too much!

I don't think they check into the employment history very deeply for the K visas... it's not like it's relevant.

Is there a broad category you could put your jobs under, like 'contractor' or 'temp - various employers, 2001-2004'? I only listed my couple of six-month jobs seperately and lumped all the rest into 'relief teacher'.

The most important thing is not to have gaps in the time frame. It is better to even put 'unemployed' then to leave a gap. No point giving the adjudicator a question in their mind as to the reason for the gap. Have seen members receive an RFE for this.
