Form N-400: Should I provide variations in name on form N400: Application for Naturalization? John Al Smith; JohnAl, Smith; John, AlSmith

Say my full name is John Al Smith. When filling up Part 1:Question B, If you have ever used other names, you will have a chance to enter them below.
In the beginning of my immigration journey, trying to make sure that my name appears as it should, I have some times used "John Al" in the first name (given name) fields on some older H1 applications and Smith as the last name. In other cases, I may have used "Al Smith" as the last name and "John" as the first name. But in the end if you were to combine first middle and last names from my forms, it would always end up being "John Al Smith".

Should I be entering variations in names on form N400 in response to question Part 1 : Question B

If you have ever used other names, you will have a chance to enter them below?

N-400 Package Mailed, from MA to Dallas, TX: 09/13/2013
USPS Priority mail, signature required. Scheduled for Monday delivery 9/16/2013
Delivered 9/16/2013

Biometrics Appmnt Done: 10/11/2013
Online Status Changed to "Testing and Interview" on 10/15/2013

Recvd Yellow Letter 12/2/2013
Online update to "Scheduled for interview" 12/16/2013

IL Received on 12/23/2013, Interview at 1/23/2014 in Boston,MA

Oath done 03/20/2014..US Citizen!!!
