is it acceptable for I to copy her notorized birth certificate, or do i have to send that one in, which is like the original??

just curious for if i can make copies of that one and keep that one or if i should keep the copied one myself

Don't confuse notorized with certified. You can send copies of the certified bc with the petition, but will need the certified original to present at the interview.

just confused...is this for the application? or for the interview?

do not submit original important documents for the application like BC and other personal and important doc. They might loose it and denied they have received it. that was what we had thought but if u like to get another original copies of them, it's ok...u can give out those orig..

for the interview, make copies of the important documents..and submit copies along with originals you want to be returned to u. do not send them to the embassy, u have to bring them along during the interview.

Do not send any originals as it was stated already. Send copies. If they want originals, they will send an RFE asking for originals. You may have to send originals to your fiance for her interview just to be on the safe side.
