On September 4, 2013, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.

It means your petition is now in their records/systems and is waiting to be worked on. If you go to the USCIS website, you can track your petition using your receipt number. Just create an account and then add your case to your portfolio. If the "last updated" date changes, it means your case was "touched".

about 5 months but the service centers are cranking NOA2's really fast lately. Most recent NOA2's I've seen only waited 2 months. really depends on your service center's workload

same message for me....just checked my 129F status, same msg.....but I don't have an Alien Registration Number (I'm a USC), my husband doesn't have one for the US because he's not here. So what ARN did they change on my 129F petition (for K3 visa) or did they actually assign him one for the US?

Also, is there some other place on the USCIS website that they're referring to get further updates on my case besides here ( https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do ) ?

thanks !!!!

incidentally iammrsregi...your status update string is hysterical! Clearly we all have to find some humor in this process somewhere so they don't make us all nuts!

Hey JA, I think its too late for me, im majorly caboodles already. when my fiance saw the signature, he called me a weirdo lmao. glad you found it funny though ^_^

There's no other way to check updates except calling USCIS and asking for Tier 2, they can provide specifics regarding your case. Tier 1 only provides the same info you see on the USCIS website.

You should have an A# too, look at the USCIS notice you got in the mail. I think its on there even for K3. Good luck!
