I'm glad I read up on this thread today, because I didn't realize I should send my application to renew my EAD/AP this soon. Got it all ready today to send tomorrow, just need to get my 2 passport pictures done. It is frustrating to think I'll have to get biometrics done again, it's an hour and a half drive away and I work every day during the week! Especially since I am just sending it just in case I don't get my Green Card before my card expires. Oh well, it has to be done.

Hopefully I have everything I need:

-Form i-765

-Form i-131

-Form i-485 notice of action copy

-Form i-765 notice of action (copy)

-Form i-131 notice of action (copy)

-Two passport-type photos

-Copy of advance parole stamp in passport

-Copy of previous biometrics appointment (not sure if required but put it in anyways)

-NPIW copy

-Copy of current EAD/AP card (front & back)

11/09/2016 - i-751 sent

11/14/2016 - NOA1

12/08/2016 - Biometrics

06/04/2018 - i-751 approved

They're likely referring to the scaremongering statement from the USCIS union last year. It simply referred to the plan to expand eligibility for interview waiver cases. I highly doubt there's any way

I can't seem to find a definite answer, from what I see online you normally do, but also I have seen if it is within a year that they process it you don't have to. I hope you're right though! That's why I put a copy of my appointment notice from last April in with my renewal packet.

I just made a threat about it to see if we can get an answer, like yourself I work 5 days a week so it would be a pain for me too, I hope we don't have to redo it again.. everything is such a pain!

I can't find a definite answer either. I am thinking that you do have to have a new bio done because they are requesting passport photos. I work all week also so it will be had to take off to drive down and have that done done. We seem to have to keep repeating the same things over and over.

I aim to please Natonstan. :) Also this one says Dallas office although there doesn't seem to be a correlation between where you live and the field office assigned to your case.
