If you look at the news on the USCIS website, starting Feb 18, 2015 they are now starting to accept applications for the "expanded" DACA applicants. And of course this means they have to make room for all those "new" applicants by delaying all the cases of the people who applied almost a year or longer. Now you know why it's taking almost a year or longer to get AOS. Nothing like great planning! Thanks Obama!

They're likely referring to the scaremongering statement from the USCIS union last year. It simply referred to the plan to expand eligibility for interview waiver cases. I highly doubt there's any way

This is pure speculation.

It also doesn't really make sense, because those applications don't open for another 2 weeks.

I didn't see anything about a special address for renewal EAD/APs either (?) I only see next to C9 on this page it gives the same old Chicago address I sent everything to last time. Am I missing something?

I sent my renewal EAD today to Chicago Lockbox. Dont tell me I sent to the wrong address.

There is an address for (c ) (9) applications in Chicago, don't know if that is the lock box or not. I use the physical address on Dearborn Ave to send our FedEx...

service request letter asked us to schedule an INFOPASS. we will be at there next week, i get so busy with work i forget my EAD/ DL will expire in a very short time frame.

my wife is exasperated at the snail speed.

That is the same address as before. I was freaked out when I heard special address so I thought I sent to the wrong one. I checked again and its same one.

New Journey AOS:

My fiancee came to US on the 8th of March, 2014 under K-1 visa at Newark, NJ Airport for POE.

Applied Social Security Number on the 10 of March, 2014.

Married on the 13th of March, 2014.

Sent I-485, I-765, and I-131 on the 15th of March, 2014.

Received EAD on June 7, 2014.

Received Notice of Potential Interview Waiver on July 1, 2014 date 6/27

Contacted Ombudsman on 01/12/2015.

Ombudsman contacted USCIS on 02/20/2015.

Ombudsman sent a follow up to USCIS on 03/18/2015.

I-485 approved on 03/31/2015 ( we ordered your card).

Welcome notice was mailed on 04/01/2015.

Received Welcome Notice on 04/08/2015.

Card was mailed to me/picked up by USPS on 04/08/2015.

Received GC on 4/10/2015.

For EAD renewal, do I need to send any other evidence besides a copy of the EAD and a copy of Form I-797C, Notice of Action? So it will just be those three things (Form I-765, Copy of EAD, Copy of Form I-797C)?

Ok seriously this is getting ridicoulous!! My husband got the letter in June last year and still waiting. He has already put in a service request. This ppl can't move fast enough. By the way I may need to do a change of address really soon. Has anybody had trouble doing that? Just hoping if we move we get the card to the new address!

The same address because it is C9 for us. Address will not change whether this is first time or renewal.

February 22nd will be my 1 year anniversary from POE. and Shell you're right, I never even thought about the anniversary of our interview date!

I cant forget it, with it being my birthday.. I do remember you got an upgrade on the train to 1st class and I do remember there were gale force winds and I could go home earlier than my booked ticket. I was euphoric then, but not this year, not by a long shot! I just hope this new stuff on the 18th of Feb doesnt put us to the back of queue, that would be totally unfair and unjust!!

Just wanted to say, I am hoping I will see positive news on this thread in the next few days. Sick and tired of seeing people stressed out. Its not fair, not right, still saying my PRAYERS for all of you for a decision. Keep in there Guys!!

When does your EAD expire? You will need to apply for renewal at 120 days before it expires to get it back in time.

We sent the application, a copy of the card (front and back), the NOA for the EAD, the notice of action for the I-485, a copy of the NPIW and a copy of the most recent SR. Maybe we over did it; just didn't want an RFE...

Didn't mean to cause a major stir. Our lawyer filed our original application package and decided to do this one ourselves -- didn't want to pay more money; already paid enough. Did not know the address for the original; just went to the instructions for c9 applicants and it seemed to be different from others. We also wanted to get it there ASAP so we used the express delivery address. Sorry for the misunderstanding...
