Well just checked USCIS status, it is like a religion now, dis-spells the boredom, that and shovelling snow. At least for now its the light, fluffy stuff and keeps me in shape. Guess what I got your fingerprint fee has been received. I was shocked to see that. Not!!

Any way Im sat here looking at people's comments and I can't help wondering whether the employee's of USCIS actually read them and have a quick chuckle to themselves. We cant blame them for the procedures and policies and it must be hard to constantly receive irate phone calls and to have to fob people off all the time. I know it would drive me crazy as I like to help people.

Then I got to thinking wouldn't it be great if someone on visa journey got a job there and kept us updated on current time scales. i also wish they would unlock my password so I can view my account properly, any one else on here locked themselves out of the USCIS website and emailed them regarding it, with no response? Curious!

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

GC  Conditional date:  05/26/2015

N400.  Application:      02/28/2018

Biometrics:                    02/22/2018

Waiting............    Roll my eyes again :(

Why does this not surprise me!! I reckon they have a special place for emails and such. A bit like the train station in the Harry Potter books or perhaps they use the junk filter or delete button? ha ha ha. The mind boggles actually. Bless 'em! lol Thanks I will try that!

Well I've officially been in the US for a year. Never thought it would take this long to get the green card, but oh well. Every time I visit this thread I get more and more angry. I'll be reapplying for EAD/AP next week as Feb 2nd is 120 days from the expiration of my current card. Here's hoping they're not backlogged with those applications too. Ughh.

Actually they are, one of my close friends got his EAD approved on the 112th day after applying, it's still in the mail.

He will probably get just in time before he might have needed to go on forced leave.

I'm gonna be in literal hell if they screw up my EAD renewal I'm applying for in March

Just been on USCIS to try and open a new account and whilst I was there getting absolutely nowhere it asked me to participate in a short survey. Of course I will. They didn't get one 10, needless to say and somewhere through the survey it asked how does the agency handle your needs or something similar. No comment looking at all the posts. Obviously I did make a comment when they asked how accessible the site was. I can't see my own case history!!!

My husband got an email response to his service request that was filed on January 14th. It stated the following:

"USCIS has reviewed your Service Request. According to USCIS records, your application is still pending. At this time, we anticipate you should receive a decision or other notice from USCIS within 120 days of this notice. Please be advised that posted processing times are goals based on Field Office averages. These goals are subject to change and can vary from office to office. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by delays in processing.

Strong_Always - What are your NOA and NPIW letter dates?

We spent the entire day yesterday upset and down after receiving 2 successive letters on 2 successive days from USCIS. It's hard to read the tea leaves from all the myriad different variation of all the responses received by those posting on this thread in the past month. The only consulation that I can see is that there was no time to decision written in either of our letters and that the statement our case "...remains under active examination..." is a good thing. Thinking this way is the only thing keeping the swings from being red-faced anger to rock bottom low a tiny bit less extreme...

Called USCIS, spoke with tier 2. I told her 6 months from NPIW expired yesterday. She said processing was taking longer than usual. She said she was going to put us on hold and check in a different system. She came back and said she had sent message to immigration official and we should hear something back by the 4th of February and if not to call back. She was hopeful this would expedite our case.

I hope so. She said if we don't receive anything by this Wednesday to call back. Maybe since they now have a set day to begin working on the President's executive action they are giving us some sort of priority. We'll be praying to God that that is the case. At this point any movement is good. You guys should try as well with tier 2.

What did you say to get to Tier 2?

I told them I was concerned about the 6 months being up and possibly having to re-do medical. They asked me where I lived but I told them the last time I had called in they told me our case was at NBC. Tier 1 just wanted to open a service request but I told her if it was possible to speak to tier 2 so they could address my concerns about the medical and she said ok. Just use a lot of the terminology we use here and they have no clue about what you're talking about and they're ok about transfer.

It'll be a year next month for me, I'll have to renew my EAD from March 5th since mine expires July 5th, can I just ask what supporting documents you need to renew? Obviously a copy of your NOA1 from your AOS and the actual EAD form, is there any evidence needed?

Looks like all you need is a copy of NOA1 from AOS, and a copy of the front and back of your current EAD card. Plus 2 passport photos. I might include a scan of my 'paroled' stamp in my passport because it asked for proof of your status at your last admission. And then duplicate everything for the AP application.

Also, it seems like if you don't get the new card in 90 days you can make an infopass appointment and they can give you some kind of temporary authorization until it comes through, so don't sweat it too much.

This is even more ridiculous for renewal EAD. I am going to send out the renewal application on 02/05 which they are about to process illegal's application on 2/18. I am not sure how long it takes to get EAD, and I might lose my job and my driver license.
