We have the same NPIW date, and I've done a service request already and all I got was a letter in the mail that basically apologized for the inconvenience for taking such a long time to process our case. No specifics about our case were mentioned. The letter did not say or make mention about having to wait an additional 6 months like other people have reported.

Thanks for the info, that's better than them not saying another 6 months, honestly I'm thinking maybe the end of this month/February will bring us July NPIW people good news.. I HOPE anways

That's the worst thing Pat, you call them up and their only suggestion is to make a service request, but then you do a service request and get absolutely no answers in return, what the hell else can we do? It's so sketchy that we're not being told any information about our cases and are instead forced to sit here month after month hoping that randomly we'll get an update, it's so bizarre!

I did get their reply/mail to my service request cuz i tricked them..muahaha

instead of clicking this 00.jpg i clicked this one instead 000.jpg

and then i get this 000000.jpg

try it guys... :)

Well I gotta say, I tried the same trick, my follow up request was for not receiving a notice and it's done the same thing, It got assigned then today went back to unassigned!

I am very optimistic that that will be the case. This waiting game is awful. We are trying to get on with our normal lives, but this is just hanging over our heads. Using AP is great and all but we won't breathe easy until we have that GC in our hands. In our case AP has been a life saver, only because we live by the U.S. Mexico border and AP has allowed my wife to visit her ill grandmother every weekend since getting the AP. Getting back to the U.S. is no problem but waiting for her to be paroled back into the U.S. is so time consuming. There have been times that I have waited for her for 3 hours to get paroled back in.

I've been working for almost 6 months now so I too am getting on with normal life but like you say the GC hangs over your head, I just hope we hear before March so we don't have to worry about renewing the EAD! I do have a good feeling that the end of the month/next month will bring news though, I'm not sure why i'm optimistic about that but all we can do is hope and pray!

You should all get in touch with your local politicians (congressman/senators) to get real answers from USCIS. Ours did for our K-1 and we got a lot of info that I shared with people here. Our congressman's office also called us back today, and told us that there's a huge delay so they're shipping out the cases from Charleston to the New Jersey office (don't know if this applies to other offices), and USCIS told her last night that our case will be adjudicated by the end of this week, and we will hear an update by early next week and if not to call her back.

Well I had made an appointment thru Info pass in Chicago. Today I went to that appointment.

It was a waist of time.

Spent 20 bucks for parking. It was cold as hell. I took my wife and son to the appointment. Reason was because

We got both ead card. Son got his resident card and wife has not. They both had a waiver of interview dated June 5 and son just happen to get his resident card 2 months ago

I filed a service request for my wife in October and no response after 30 days.

I called again and they told me nothing we have not heard.

I talked to uscis who looked like a typical person in a dress shirt. Told me everything I have heard. Said once it's looked at and transferred it will change in status online. I asked March will be almost a year since I submitted the aos. Said as long it's pendinng its ok. I asked can I apply for an AP card and said no because we have a case pending .

So pretty much I got some Bs answers

Security is some arrange to rent a cops.

They told me to contact rep which I have.

I told him I have even emailed uscis thru work and guy smirked. I'm like I can I have access to .gov emails. I showed him my badge and buisness card.

I'm just ranting and typing. But what's worse he told me it can take 1-5 years for her card to be processed . So my day was wasted. I guess I have to wait.

If we accept your case, you will receive a receipt notice. If we reject your case, we will send you an explanation with instructions.

  • down-arrow.png

As of January 6, 2015, your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number T1B3641400948BOS, is currently not assigned for processing.

Thanks Natonstan for the help....I was wondering if anyone knows what this means? I'm referring particularly to the most top part? Has anyone ever encountered this before?

Just submitted my 3rd Service request on line this time (Receipt date 3/29/14; NPWI 6/27/14). It to all of 5 seconds for it to pop up with the tried and true message. By their rules, gotta wait another 30 days. What a crock...this is down right criminal...

What does this say to your arriving spouse about the good ol' US of A. She scared she'll never get a green card, particularly when a no brain InfoPass official tells one of our bloggers it could take up to 5 years. What is she to think? What am I to say? Don't worry dear, it's just a bureacracy with a political agenda; they'll get around to us some year...

I've got 2 service requests within the 30 day bracket, one for it being out of processing times, then my cheat one when I tried doing one for not receiving a notice, both of them got assigned then later "Not assigned to an officer" so I can't do anything now for the rest of the month but wait

I've got 2 service requests within the 30 day bracket, one for it being out of processing times, then my cheat one when I tried doing one for not receiving a notice, both of them got assigned then later "Not assigned to an officer" so I can't do anything now for the rest of the month but wait

They didn't even give me a chance to have a flunky assigned to investigate my service request before saying it was unassigned...in essence I now know that "flunky" is the evasive "black-box" computer system at USCIS...

So we are in the dark another 30 days...
