does anyone have a K2 in this equation? I can't imagine that we're the only ones. Our K2 got a letter in mid-November, and my husband has received nothing. Has NO ONE ever experienced this before?? this is exceedingly frustrating. We don't know whether to figure his just didn't get sent out, or did they send it because K2 is under 14? No one, even throughout this forum, will give their experience or advice. Grrrrr.

I've been following this thread in what seems like forever and the frustration is killing me! I passed my NPIW six month mark on December 27th (I got my NPIW on June 27) and still nothing...ugh!

Does anybody here know or have experience with renewing the EAD/AP card? Mine expires May 27th and from what I can recall from reading somewhere I can apply for a renewal 120 days before the expiry date? I know I don't have to pay the fee as long as my AOS is pending but does anyone how long it typically takes them to renew? I'm just worried because I work at a hospital and I can't let it affect my work timeline!

Fingers crossed for everyone here...hoping more approvals come this month!

Login to your profile on the USCIS site, click on your case and if you scroll down a little it has updates. I assume you've setup an account on USCIS, if not its straight forward enough, just go to the page where you put in your number and you'll see "Sign up" at the top of the page

May I ask how you are able to check the status of your service request? We filed seven months ago yesterday and still no word of an interview. We should be outside of normal processing times when the new times post in the next week or so. My lawyer filed an inquiry last Monday, so I'm just trying to see if it had been assigned to anyone. Thanks!

Well the image I posted is all you can really see, it just tells you if its been assigned yet. But basically go to the USCIS website, click "Check your case status" and then at the top it will say "Signup" make an account and then it will ask you to add your case, simply put your case number in and then you can click it and see details such as the images I posted. It also tells you if your case has been touched.. in my case nobodys even touched my case since May

And it works the same for inquiries? I'm already signed up for case updates on our I-485. But based on your screen grab, I'm assuming there is a place to enter my request ID number and check the status of my inquiry. Is that true? I tried typing it in as a receipt number, but it's too long. Sorry for the confusion...

Ah no it's on the same page, when you login click on your case number, then scroll down a little and it has some boxes, if you put in a service request using the USCIS website it should be there, you can't actually see any other information other than what you can see in my screenshot unfortunately.. as always we're in the dark about everything

I had wanted to file the inquiry myself at an INFOPASS appointment on Friday, but the lawyer beat me to it last Monday. I hadn't found this site until we had already filed. But I guess that's why I can't see the inquiry. I was hoping I could just enter that confirmation code somewhere and check its status, even if it had been filed by the lawyer. Thanks again. I hope you hear some news soon!

Yeah it's kinda stupid that you can't type the number in anywhere, what's the point of them even giving you a number if its of no use...

I'm just waiting it out, a February filer/June waiver letter receiver got their update this week so I'm figuring the rest of us will hear something soon enough

Mine is the same as yours. Put the service request on Nov 20, the case was assigned on Dec 1. I also received the letter from my local office on that day, telling me that my case is not with them and they forwarded my inquiry to other office (I think NBC) to answer my question on Dec 2.

Since then the status is like yours, not yet assigned for processing. I called again on last Monday that it's over 30 days and I haven't get answer. The officer put the new request for me again. But this time she didn't give me the referral number and nothing change on my inquiry status. I guess the request may not be sent successfully. Plan to do online request again this weekend.

Now, the next 3 days will meet 6 month deadline. No hope at all.

Yes, the service is really unsatisfied and we can do nothing with the case rather than waiting for lucky draw, hoping one day the case will be grabbed to process.

We have the same NPIW date, and I've done a service request already and all I got was a letter in the mail that basically apologized for the inconvenience for taking such a long time to process our case. No specifics about our case were mentioned. The letter did not say or make mention about having to wait an additional 6 months like other people have reported.
