Got a reply/mail from USCIS about the service request/ inquiry about a notice that i didn't receive. I was just testing it if it will go thru, and yeah it went thru...

It's free to renew as long as your AOS is still pending. Just include a copy of your I-797.

Below is the timeline for our Green Card:

March 10, 2014 - AOS application received.

June 27, 2014 - NPIW Letter

December 20, 2014 - 1st text received - Welcome letter sent.

December 22, 2014 - Welcome letter received and Card ordered for production.

December 23, 2014 - Ordered new card. Also sent response about why case was taking longer than processing time (never got)

December 30, 2014 -Notice Card mailed.

December 31, 2014 - Card received.

There were a series of texts with different dates about receiving card. One was if you don't receive by Jan. 20th, another one - Feb 20th then Jan 22nd to contact them.

I hope things start moving for everyone.

Congratulations....someone with our same NPWI date has met with success. Somehing may be stiring in the pit where NPWI cases are held captive...hope springs eternal...

I did some research on no. of interview waiver cases approved in each month. If I'm not wrong, it looks like they significantly reduced working on interview waiver cases since Sep 2014. Don't know the reason why but I hope they will speed up or do something this month!

Even though this represents a biased sample (those who apply and also post on this forum - the true numerator and denominator are unknown), your research is interesting and greatly appreciated. I only anecdotallly noticed this while reading through this thread over the past several months. The trend is interesting and also discouraging. There was no comparable drop off last year. We can only speculate why. Here's hoping that a new calender year will show a reveral of the trend.

What is interesting and I do not believe that you noticed is that though your Service Request number ends with your geographical locale (TMP), the your letter comes from the Santa Ana, California field office. In my estimation, that means that you case is no longer in Missouri and in fact has been transferred to that office for processing. I would be willing to bet you will get notice of action very soon...

Does anybody know if the medical exam time is reset , if you had to go to a civil surgeon for missing some vaccinations ?

Example: medical exam was done in March, but was it incomplete. Went to a clinic to get the vaccines, then to a civil surgeon in July to fill in the missing vaccines on the I-693. Does the medical validation go by the one in March or July ?

On December 24, 2014 we received emails/texts saying the permanent resident card was ordered for production. On January 2, 2015 we received an email stating it was mailed out by USPS. We have just received the welcome letter in the mail.



We filed the AOS with a receipt date of February 22, 2014. We received a waiver letter on June 5, 2014.



Hopefully the card will arrive in a day or two.

We filed the AOS with a receipt date of February 22, 2014. We received a waiver letter on June 5, 2014.

Hopefully the card will arrive in a day or two.

A june NPIW case with a December approval? That beats the February/March approvals that have been around - congrats!
