You need a serious lesson in WWII history.

Your quote " modern day equivalent to Pearl Harbor".

Who are you and your petty little immigration AOS compared to the lives that were lost during the Pearl Harbor attack? Next time you pick an anology to contrast against, be careful with the subject matter.

You sir owe a grave apology to every service man who served in that campaign AND every Military Veteran AND active military personal who currently serves at that this time who is on this site.

I'm so mad right now I could chew nails. Sit down, shut up, and be patient like everyone else on this site.

I'd rather have an interview; you'll get your GC a lot faster. If everything is fine with your marriage and you have joint accounts, you will be fine. Our experience is that even with a questionable marriage (see earlier post) the interview is not bad (though I hear wait until ROC, that's worse). You'll rot out there in the NPIW list well past the new year...Take the interview and while you're at it can you get us one too...

I know, I would rather have it too. But I doubt that's accurate. If I was going to have an interview, surely something would have moved within the last 8 months!

I know, that's what I thought! I'm fairly certain it's just a standard response. It came from the field office, so they're probably not that well verser in interview waiver letters. Besides, my case is still in 'Acceptance' and when I call to check the status the robot tells me my case is in Lee's Summit, MO

That's what it sounds like - a standard response. Here's hoping!

Actually - good point! The robot tells me that mine is still in MO - but the agent told me it was transferred, but she wouldn't say to where. Hmmmm..

So Giuseppe, how did you inquire, was it an online service request based on being past processing time or did you call USCIS? We want to make an inquiry also based on the NYC processing dates that just came out. Someone else had said that the cases still at NBC (ours) don't go by the local office processing times? I do not know!

Yeah, they don't. There's no processing times published for the NBC. But I sort of figured that the reason for the enquiry didn't need to be exact, I was just curious to see what they responded with.

Are there any NPIW from June 5 who still haven't received your green card? Do any of you know if you've been transferred to a field office? We're trying to figure out how much longer we may have.

Here! June 5th NPIW with March 5th Fingerprint Fee received.

I enquired on my case status today just to see what they said, and I got the following response from the New York City field office only 2 hours later:

On 12/9/2014, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I-485 to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Our records show that your I-485 is currently pending adjudication. You will be scheduled for an interview. Please wait to receive this notice which will be sent to the most recent address we have on file. We regret that we are unable to provide you with an interview date at this time. We apologize for the delay.

Weird, as I received the NPIW letter on 7/29. I wonder if they know something I don't, or if this is just a stock standard response not taking into account the NPIW letter.

My lawyer put a Service Request on 11/28, but I was too busy with work that I couldn't update you guys. Mine is different from yours GiuseppeG. It says that according to USCIS, it is still pending, and that they anticipate I should receive a decision or other notice from USCIS within 60-90 days of this notice.

I was sent BOTH the applicant as well as the attorney copy at my residential address. The only weird thing is that it came from my local USCIS office.

Here is how the case history is displayed on my USCIS account:

On November 28, 2014, your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number T1DXXXXXXXXXXXXX, was assigned to an officer for response.

On December 1, 2014, we sent a response to your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number T1DXXXXXXXXXXXXX.

On December 1, 2014, your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number T1DXXXXXXXXXXXXX, was completed.

I know, that's what I thought! I'm fairly certain it's just a standard response. It came from the field office, so they're probably not that well verser in interview waiver letters. Besides, my case is still in 'Acceptance' and when I call to check the status the robot tells me my case is in Lee's Summit, MO

What is the number you call for the robot? I assume it just reads the info they have on record, and that it's the same I have on my USCIS account page:

On March 5, 2014, we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXXX. Our National Benefits Center location is working on your case. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschangeto give us your new mailing address.

We ALL would have liked to have that, but honestly, at this point, after having waited THIS long, when others that got the interview had their green cards in June, I would be ROYALLY pissed if they ultimately decided to schedule an interview. Enough said!

I have the same date for the NPIW. I received a letter from my local USCIS office in response to a service request. They are saying the file is in Lee's Summit, MO.

Hi guys i really have no idea what is going on with the USCIS and why they can not give us concrete answers.

since they changed their web site back in October I can not track my case status, it says validation error. I used to call the USCIS and entered my case number manually and the robot used to say the status but now even the robot says the information about my case status is unavailable.

i called them 3 days ago submitted service request cause 6 months after receiving the interview waiver letter in June 5th is over.

i just called them again but still no helpful answer

What's the last 3 letters on your service request #? Mine were NYC, I guess based on my address, and it was answered by the NYC field office.

I'm almost positive that mine is a generic response and wouldn't have mentioned the interview part if it had been answered by NBC. But we'll see, I guess.

My husband got his welcome letter yesterday and the greencard was mailed yesterday. We filed in February and got the Interview waiver letter in May. Here's hoping they're working on these, and everyone starts getting approvals!
