We also filed our I-485 at the end of March, we received the waiver letter in July and still nothing! Luckily we also did the AP/EAD so my husband is able to work but I can't believe we are still waiting for the green card. Everything is such a long process, you have to be so patient!

Hello all, I actually went to the uscis in SLC a week ago because I need to go back to Peru by December 12th. They said i am in normal processing time because since I already had an interview back when I was applying for a K1 visa it was not necessary for me to go for another interview. I am freaking out because i did not want to use the AP to leave the country but since it is really an important event for my family I will take a chance, I did tell the officer that I submitted every paperwork on time so this whole situation would not happen. I filed back in February and as i was checking my case status the other day i started going back a few cases, let's suppose my case is (XXXX26) and I went back and found out that the case XXXXX20 was fully approved last friday 14th. I do remember that case number and mine were both in the same status, same dates, same updates, same everything last week. Hopefully I can receive my green card before I leave because everything is fully booked :( I really hope this whole thing moves faster. It reminds me when I was in the k1 visa situation last year and all the centers practically stopped for 2 months and it delayed every single person on my timeline.

You are in exact same situation as me. I will surely taking the risk by using the AP for traveling on Dec 11 to my country.

So will today's Executive Order cause a further delay for other application types? This is what USCIS say:

http://www.uscis.gov/immigrationaction

Q6: Will the processing of other applications and petitions (such as family-based petitions and green card applications) be delayed?

A6: USCIS is working hard to build capacity and increase staffing to begin accepting requests and applications for the programs directed by the Secretary. We will monitor resources and capacity very closely, and we will keep the public and all of our stakeholders informed as this process develops over the course of the coming months.

Just received an email from USCIS regarding my service request:

Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in the order received and in a timely and efficient manner. We regret any inconvenience that results from delays in processing.

On USCIS website it says they are processing 14April. I am pretty sure January comes before April *sarcastic* so shouldn't Jan filers be approved first? Well at least they replied to my service request...

I guess I can add myself to the "Potential Interview Waiver Case" group as well.

Have filed my I-485 with I-765 on July 15th, 2014. Got to a stand still when I needed

to submit more evidence, so after 2,5 month delay my case could continue with processing.

So already a 2,5 month delay... On November 6th my EAD got approved and a week

later I received. Following weekday went to Social Security Office to apply for a SS #.

Then I received the letter like many more received, mine with a sign date of November 12th, 2014.

Just wanted to share my experience briefly, now the waiting begins!

Thanks for the positive news, hopefully sooner or later they will look at our case as well.

Noticed another approval from yesterday in the timelines section, from a member who states they received the 6/5 waiver letter too. Hopefully this means things for you are about to move forward!

I'm joining the club!

We filed for AOS based on my K1 visa on Feb 14, received a letter of a potential interview waiver case on July 5 and like a lot of you we haven't heard anything since then... :huh2:

I called the USCIS last week and they put in a service request since our case is also out of the normal timeframe now. We should be getting a reply to that soon, but I don't expect that to be anything else but stating that they are still backlogged...

Sending all the best energy to everyone in here and hope they'll get to our applications REALLY soon!

My husband was accepted to grad school starting Jan and so he has put in an expedite request in order to be able to apply for federal financial aid. Two previous requests were flat out rejected but that was before he was accepted. Now they have emailed and asked for him to fax the acceptance letter for evidence. We hope that is a good sign but who knows?!
