Oh Tina, sigh. I'm sorry. I contacted the congress woman we talked to with the K1 and she came back with the info that our case is potentially an interview waiver. Which, bc I follow these threads, I replied very upset with well, that's fantastic (sarcastic) bc they are taking a year to get ppl their greencard and she was actually telling me that no, this means it should go faster! I am about to reply to her and copy a person's notice, bc this is ridiculous, and Matt's medical expiring before he gets his greencard is a real possibility.

Sorry, Johan doesn't have his EAD yet as well. :(

We got an email just a bit ago that his EAD has been mailed. Silver lining. Ha

Edited to add: yes, it should be faster! I mean, it's waived. Send the card then and there!!! I have never understood the (lack of) logic that goes with this process. Johan's medical will expire on may 9th. 3 days before the magical 6-month date. *eyeroll*

We just received our Potential Interview Waiver case letter in the mail yesterday. We applied in July 2014 for AOS from a K1 visa.

At least we now know that someone at least noticed our application.

Mine hasn't even been touched since May, I swear they must just pile them up and forget about them and then randomly stumble across them months down the line..

I know of someone that applied around the same time I did, received the NOPIWL in June (just like I did!), and have already been approved (a month or so I think).

I honestly have NO idea how they go about processing these waivers, I just know it sucks!

Anyone from May/April/March with waiver letters that have NOT received their Green Card yet?

I think your question might be better asked in the reverse i.e. are there any March/April/May filers who HAVE received their green cards yet? I saw on the February 2014 AOS filers thread today someone asking what to do now that their 6 month wait was up and they still hasn't heard anything!

I searched through this thread and the last approval I could find was in August for a February filer! It's appears to have really slowed down.

Derwood, I was NOT talking about AOS filers, I am a February filer myself. Since this is a thread on the waiver specifically, I meant EXACTLY to ask whether there are any "Notice of Potential Interview Waiver" recipients from March/April/May that have not received the green card yet. ;-)

I gotcha! I haven't seen a single instance of anyone in the NPIW club, that filed after February. saying 'YAY I've been approved without interview'. Not one. Maybe they are just keeping very quiet! Anyway I'm a July filer so I shall butt out :-)

My priority date is march 31. I filled for my 1 year baby. I just had an appointent this monday to know about my case and their answer was... they have a lot of work the only thing you can do is keep waiting...

So I think thw only thing I can do is to wait hahaha

If you look in the AOS timelines, you'll notice that 2 February filers have been approved in the last few days and 1 of them notes that they received the interview waiver letter on 06/05. The other doesn't mention it, but hasn't filled in an interview date, so I'd assume the same for them.

Not sure if this means anything for anyone else, however!

Fingers crossed for you guys if they are indeed getting to the February filers now, I filed in April so it would mean they're closer to me anyway, could this be the miracle we've been waiting for!?
