I think I'm proof that the Service Request response letters are complete trash, don't believe a word of it if its just a generic letter.

I think the only thing we can gleen from SR responses is the return address if it is anything outside your local FO. I got too many from the NYC field office which meant absolutely nothing. I only know that ours is taking a vacation in very southern Cal because of that unusual address...

Can't make heads nor tails of this post . They announce they were married on Feb 13th 2015, but say they applied for AOS in August 2014? What I find interesting is they think that their AOS is at the Texas Service Centre and that an immigration officer told them to request an interview to move things on. If that is the case should we all be requesting an interview?!?!? http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/541029-unemployed-before-aos-interview/?p=7526726

I think this might be another poor soul that USCIS misinforms. If it were that easy to request an interview I think all of us in here would have already scheduled ourselves for one.

Congratulations!!! Its about time! Doing my happy dance for you!!! Have a drink for ALL of us this is excellent news!

1 year, 2 days is disgraceful though! Sorry I have to add that bit, but it just sends my blood pressure through the roof, lucky I have always had low blood pressure though isn't it? Else they would be sending me an RFE for a medical!!! :)

Congratulations!!! Another approval!! I am not sure that how I should feel....Feeling of injustice comes on top of my head...

I need to do Ombudsman soon as i can't stand this....

So this is what some tier 1 or tier 2 person at the USCIS has told them.We joined VJ in February 2015.

We were married August 8, 2014. AOS was filed August 12, 2014.

Fiance came in on a K1 Visa. Our case is at the National Benefits Center currently.

We talked to an immigration office yesterday at a field office and she stated that Texas processes all green cards (her words).

I have asked them to join our thread. I have heard it all now, just shaking my head. Wow, is there no training at the USCIS or do they just make it up as they go along....

Wow don't do that, I thought you had just got approved and my heart was banging ten to the dozen!!! They must be the longest case I have heard off, a February filer, wow, speechless. I would be raising the roof if I was waiting that long, although I probably will and they haven't seen nothing yet, I can be a perpetual complainer when I need too!!

Thats what I am wondering, has anyone actually tried? Ive asked them to let us know if they get one, hopefully they will. Very curious, can you imagine it if we were able to do this all along? Not seen anyone else writing about it though.

Hmm then they will have to transfer our cases from current local office to the office near our house, which can take time as well; e.g I will either have to go to Lawrence, MA where my case is or wait till it arrives to NYC.

Who can we ask about this? Tier1?

I've tried requesting an interview through tier 1&2

Both told me I wasn't able to do that

That if we recieved I letter stating our case was a potential interview waiver then we didn't need one

Of course not, what we were thinking? hahahha :devil:

It's funny to think how almost happy I was when I got this NPIW letter in June, now it's like "get me outta here, please, Uncle USCIS"

Great so another customer of their's has been given misinformation or disinformation. I am surprised they haven't told us there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, because they obviously think we are brain dead, stupid and not worthy of being told the truth. Here we go again that nose is getting bigger and bigger at the USCIS hence my new profile pic of Pinocchio! Time they had some honesty and actually knew what they were talking about!
