Yay! I checked my status today and it was saying the same message!!! (dated 3/16/2015) It used to say we received your documents on 3/14/2014.

I didn't check status to see the intermediate steps so I didnt know if this had to do with the green card or not, nor did we get any text messages. This website was poorly done, or maybe I got used to staring at "3/14/2014" for a year. I totally skipped the image above saying "Welcome Notice Was Mailed".

It took us 1 year + 2 days of waiting (since NOA1).

I'm going out drinking.

CONGRATS! we are at 11 months, so maybe in another month? early in this process, i thought the interview waiver was a good thing, now i wish we would have had an interview...

Congrats to the two approvals from yesterday! Well deserved.

In one week it will have been a year since we sent our application. I'm so sick of this. For the longest time I was ok with knowing that at least I was with my husband and able to work, and at least there are plenty of other people in the same situation. Now I'm just done with it. It gets me down that I've lived in this country with no status for nearly 14 months, despite doing everything that USCIS has asked of me and despite the thousands of dollars I've spent in fees and taxes, and they don't even have the decency to let us know what is even going on with our cases. They're in such a position of power over us that they know they can get away with asking for anything, doing anything, and giving zero customer service in return, and there's nothing we can do about it if we want to stay with our families. I wish I had overstayed my VWP back in early 2013 when we were applying for the K1, I'd be well on my way to citizenship by now.

Congratulations!!! Its about time! Doing my happy dance for you!!! Have a drink for ALL of us this is excellent news!

1 year, 2 days is disgraceful though! Sorry I have to add that bit, but it just sends my blood pressure through the roof, lucky I have always had low blood pressure though isn't it? Else they would be sending me an RFE for a medical!!! :)

Yes it isnt FAIR!! We abide by the rules and we have to wait. If we decided to marry on our VWP as so many of us could have done, we would indeed be interviewed by now and have our GC! Unfortunately for us who have been through the whole K1 process, interviews, medicals, police checks, married within the 90 days (not time for a proper wedding) paid two lots of fees and its a case of shut up and put up! They have the power and they choose to do with it what they want too. It's disgraceful really!

Happy for you, you are finally a someone, not lost in no-ones land!! Enjoy! :)

Good morning everyone! Looking forward to hearing more good news today.

Good morning espared12, Good morning Peeps!

Yesterday was amazing with 2 approvals and ask espared has just said hoping to hear some more good news this morning. Happy that a few people filled in a form for the ombudsman, but from Natonstan said it took a whole month, so hopefully the USCIS will take the high road and produce those GC's without us all having to take action!

Any way St Patricks Day, so may the green force be with you!! :)

Congrats to the two approvals today - I'm so pleased for you!!! I might be a bit absent from the thread for a while as my work hours are really ramping up at the moment (15 hours today urgh!). Oh for the heady days when I was waiting for my EAD and wasn't allowed to work lol. Of course if I had a GC I could go back into my own field of expertise and not have to work all these damn hours - oh well Que Sera, Sera.

Shell, for the next few weeks please could you send me a message if anything notable happens like you did today. I might not reply straightaway but I'd be eternally grateful - I know you'll have your finger on the NPIW pulse!

Don't leave us Natonstan - we'll all be sad if you do ;-)

Goodnight all.

15 hours, blooming heck!! Hoping you get your GC so you do your field of expertise..

You don't have to ask Derwood it goes without saying that I will keep you in the loop! And no we don't want Natonstan to leave, we will be needing his advice in the coming weeks/months so we can pass it on to others plus we enjoy his company!

Been a good day with 2 on thread approvals. It's just my hope they haven't blown their wad for the week on Monday. We need more of that Saturday night Ra-Ra....

I will do my happy dance on Sat and Sunday, get the USCIS ready for next Monday and the week ahead. :)

On this St. Patrick's Day I'd rather have a Green Card in my hand than the green beer I have now...but instead of being green with envy for those that got their green, I'll just cry in my green beer...
