I don't know...according to the website/emails I was approved 03/09, and my card was in production 03/11. I'm still in Oz, so my sister-in-law occasionally checks the mail. Hoping she'll check today and let me know. Still no sign of any of the supposedly USCIS communication they promised to mail about the aforementioned developments (ie a Welcome Letter). Or maybe she just forgot to tell me?

Also, no mention of any tracking number, so I can't tell if its even in the mail. The website is still at "On March 11, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSC*******381, and will mail it to the address you gave us." So waiting rather impatiently. Saturday I'm coming back via LAX - maybe immigration there can tell me what's going on?

I hope you don't have to put in another SR for "did not receive". The ugly irony that the nightmare continues...

I thought the government was suppose to be "for the people, by the people" My parents were both in the military, father was in World War II on a battleship and ex-husband was in the service for 15 years. I have moved all around because of the service to the military and this is how we are treated. No answers and treated like nobody or are very rude to by Tier 2. It makes me so very very sad. I have been proud of my country and was very excited for my husband to come and experience some of the things that I have. But so far, it has been a lot of frustration and dealing with people that work for the government that are not very pleasant. Just makes me so sad to what extent things have come too.

I totally relate to your feelings. My father and mother were military. I had an aunt and cousin the military. I'm retired military. It is easy to become jaded by a hostile and inhuman bureacracy. Yes it appears as though we are moving toward a "regulacracy" in the US, especially when you bump up against an agency like USCIS or the IRS. But after this is over (I mean after naturilization, whenever that is) and let the fond memories mellow, things will fall into perspective...and that is that USCIS really, really stinks...

Thanks, just submitted ours. Hope it is just a formality but with USCIS you never know...

We all need to go beyond this even after our approvals. This stupidity and injustice should not allow to stand...

Another big congrats to you...the luck of the Irish is with ya..

I totally agree!!!!!!

If you look back at all the posts of today, I said this NEEDS to go further! We can go to the Ombudsman and we can get our GC, however it doesn't stop what they are doing right now to everyone and it won't stop when we eventually get to ROC. Enough is enough, action is needed, we can't let this unfairness, this bullying, this you attitude, this political motivated and a numerous other things go on.

We NEED to be HEARD and for them to realise we actually have a voice, a life, feelings and the power to one day vote in the USA, as do our spouses and their families. We pay for this service, we pay to sustain their operations, employment. For a Tier 2 person to callously and blatantly fob off one of our friends on this forum as if they stood in dog ####### is inexcusable!

Isn't America after all the land of the free and the place where you can voice your opinion and fight for what you believe in? We can't leave it at this once we get our GC, we need to be the voice of all the other people that will/are going through this!

This is the thing, although it's meant to be the government, it isn't government as funding I think Nlhernan or someone else said, is 95 cent what we pay in fees. The 5 percent the government pays for is for the homeland security.. It is seemingly a way to make money and not really about the GC. If it was about the GC, don't you think that perhaps those who do not use the K1 would be deported for doing things that might be construed to be a tad dodgy? They don't seem to get sent home and told to do things the correct way, they have paid the AOS fee and have many fees ahead.

I think what happens is that USCIS are told by the government to concentrate on a particular visa at any one given time and told to #### the rest! I think it is probably politically motivated, I could be wrong, but that is my own personal point of view! I am sure some people wont agree and will be offended by what I say, but I don't care! We have paid our fees, we can wait whilst they do what they want/need to do and sod the rest of you, their attitude.

It doesn't matter how much you love America, what you have done or not done, could be a Stephen Hawkins but if it doesn't meet their objective, they will not care! Sorry for being so brutal, I hear you and my heart breaks for you, as I care, but USCIS does not care! Time for us to take action and not just to the ombudsman it has to go further, for everything they have done, will do and for every time they haven't heard us, listened to us or actually blatantly treated us like something the cat brought in!

Im about to collapse, I'm at work shaking!!!! I just got the update to say to check my tracking and I look and its On March 16, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSCXXXXXX9, and will mail it to the address you gave us.

Yay! I checked my status today and it was saying the same message!!! (dated 3/16/2015) It used to say we received your documents on 3/14/2014.

I didn't check status to see the intermediate steps so I didnt know if this had to do with the green card or not, nor did we get any text messages. This website was poorly done, or maybe I got used to staring at "3/14/2014" for a year. I totally skipped the image above saying "Welcome Notice Was Mailed".

It took us 1 year + 2 days of waiting (since NOA1).

I'm going out drinking.

Congratulation guys!! It's about time. To my knowledge, you are one of the oldest if not the oldest unapproved case on this thread. Hey USCIS if your reading this I simply ask why you put this couple through this torment when it wasn't necessary? I 'm just happy for you guys. Celebrate you deserve it...

Armed with what was said in the story in the Gray Lady (the NY Times) in Feb, you are totally justified in everything you say here. There is a political agenda for one applicant class over another and we're caught in the middle without, IMHO, justification. It makes me angry and has made me angry since before we first started posting here (if that hasn't already been obvious to most who have read what I've posted over the past 3 months). Thank you Shell for giving voice to truth....

Congrats to the two approvals today - I'm so pleased for you!!! I might be a bit absent from the thread for a while as my work hours are really ramping up at the moment (15 hours today urgh!). Oh for the heady days when I was waiting for my EAD and wasn't allowed to work lol. Of course if I had a GC I could go back into my own field of expertise and not have to work all these damn hours - oh well Que Sera, Sera.

Shell, for the next few weeks please could you send me a message if anything notable happens like you did today. I might not reply straightaway but I'd be eternally grateful - I know you'll have your finger on the NPIW pulse!

Don't leave us Natonstan - we'll all be sad if you do ;-)

Goodnight all.
