My parents received PIW letter on 9/10/2014. I want to make a service request for them. Why their case out normal processing time (although I know what they will say) and where are their cases (although I know they won't tell you the truth)

But I want to try. Is this website to do the online service request? https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayONPTForm.do?sroPageType=onpt

If not, Please let me know the website and the steps to do the service request.

Let us train ourselves to be a super patient person and Thank you all.

That is the one, make sure the field office are working on their NOA1 date, even though its not relevant it is when you do a service request. Good luck, may the GC force be with you!

When I joined this thread it was 1 yr and 3 months old with 34 pages and just over 500 posts. Weekends were dead. Now look at it. It's morphed into a life of its own. Probably the most active thread on the forum. Hardcore posters like you and a cast of others (characters?) have served to make this process tolerable in that we can see others in the same boat: commiserate, vent, gripe, laugh and celebrate in a matter of 2 or 3 posts. If you can't laugh at all of this; you're not cynical enough yet...don't worry, like a good beer or tea, it will brew...we sure as beck have the time...

I knew of this thread when Natonstan alerted me to it back when I had just filed in August or perhaps before that. However, I didn't join in as I thought if I didn't join it I wouldn't receive the inevitable letter. WRONG!!! lol. I remember popping in once and Derwood welcoming me, a nice warm welcome. I then went on holiday/vacation to the UK, then my husband contacted me on Skype one night informing me that the USCIS had sent me a Christmas present of a nice NPIW letter! Made my Christmas... not!

Any way.... once home I decided to become a committed member of the thread, since then we have laughed, cried, been through a whole host of emotions, but the most important thing is that we are in it together!!! We support each other and we pass on our vast wealth of knowledge to people who really don't want to join our NPIW club but find themselves in it after receiving that letter. Hopefully, we wont have to have a ROC club, but one never knows and at least we know that we will all be together in again.

So very true, our journey together is not complete and will continue even after the 10 year card as we will all be living in the US together :)

I had a thought (and I guess I need other people to back this up) - my first applications had sequential receipt numbers like MSC*********1, MSC*********2, MSC*********3. In the order of a AOS, EAD, AP. My renewal, which is now moot (yay!) was MSC*********7, MSC*********8, again EAD, and AP. If this is the case for everyone, could you just try the next number up from your EAD and see if the website gives you any information?

Good idea, great minds think alike...I did try that LOL,,,I went three numbers before and after but they all came up as I765 not the I131. So I'm still in the same boat of waiting to see if the EAD comes with the AP.
