A quick update, if you guys remember yesterday I posted that out of nowhere a service request for USCIS appeared on my profile. So, today I got this reply:

"Type of service requested:
-- Non-Delivery of Other Notice

The status of this service request is:

After careful review of your request, it has been determined that your issues will be best addressed by the USCIS office having jurisdiction over your case. Therefore, we have taken the liberty of forwarding your service request to the Lawrence Field Office."

Is that normal????? Did somebody filled out a service request without my info? How is that possible?

Ok, I am confused completely.

I did call Tier 1 yesterday, he told me that they don't see any request on my profile

Well that's the trickiest part here, on my last request they told that my case is in Lawrence office, but I didn't make any service request since then. And this one "magically" appeared on my profile

It is very weird, well not really, this keeps happening weird messages without service requests. I guess it means they are concentrating on your case, wish they would leave me a message other than your fingerprint fee has been received even Happy New Year would be better than that damn message!

So we are filling out the privacy request form for our senator's office and both sections for petitioner and beneficiary are required. Is my husband both the petitioner and the beneficiary or am I the petitioner and him the beneficiary? Sorry in advance if this is a stupid question.

The US citizen is the petitioner, the AOS holder is a beneficiary.

All of this is so crazy...different dates, SR requests out of nowhere, files moved all over the country...etc. My heading is spinning

I got my biometrics appointment letter yesterday for the EAD renewal. It's for Monday but I'm thinking of going this week as I am off work for spring break (woop!). I'm just grateful my local office is about a 10 min drive away, what a hassle for those coming from hours away, especially knowing you might (hopefully) receive your GC before the new EAD anyway.

Starting to think my estimated acceptance date of 3/13 was too optimistic.

Stranger things have happened, just had someone today who was due to have their biometrics done and was approved and yeah, I have to travel over 2 hours to Pittsburgh to get mine done!

I received my NPIW on 02/28/15 and today my status online said i was schedule for interview on 04/13/15. Just an update for everyone. I will keep you update after the interview to see what happens.

You are what we call in the business a lucky dog. You got one of the "miracle" interviews. If things go well you will have a GC in your hand by early May...and the rest of us...well, we improve with age ..

You see I wouldn't mind that news if I was that person, but if I got an interview letter myself after being forced to wait a year I wouldn't be happy!

Even after this long, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush...and that Bush seems thick and endless...Give us an interview...

sounds a bit like what happens to our AOS files are USPS and USCIS connected by any chance? lol

I'm not fond of the USPS, BUT it does work and the motto is cool:

"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds."

USCIS, on the other hand:

"When we get around to it, so shut up and enjoy the cold and gloom..."

Quick check in today. Am laid up with some form of bug so no work today. :(

The automated response states expect a response by April 1, 2015.

Does this make me an April Fool? :goofy:

If you believe USCIS on ANY day you are a fool, not just an April one. They are so full of water. It must be Evian water because backwards it spells naive, which describes any one who falls for their line of garbage...
