Waiting for sweet nothings. Maybe more sweet than nothing. Hopefully they will say it has transferred, but at this point my cynicism is beyond my level to be confident of anything...

I must admit when I first came onto this thread I wasn't cynical, however reading everyone's posts and the appalling way everyone has been treated, I am also beyond cynicism. :(

Well a representative with Senator Cruz's office in Austin just called about our request for answers. She said that our case is an "interview waiver case" (i already knew that) and she said that it is still at NBC and will be processed by NBC.

She said that she calls on these cases all the time. She said when the peitioner/spouse is in the U.S. and the case is straightforward, they usually will stay at NBC and be processed by them. She said that most of the time when the case is not straightforward, and they think that there is a "flag" of some sort, it will be sent to the nearest USCIS processing office to where they live for them to set up an interview.

She also said that for our case, the wait time is about 6-10 months from the date of the letter. She said that if we don't hear anything by the end of March, to call her back and she will check back into our case.

Not sure that is correct, we have seen cases leave the NBC, been confirmed they have left, no interview and then an approval. This is what really gets to me the lack of transparency. If they were honest and trained their staff to know the in's and outs of how cases are processed then people would be more understanding and patient.

So you did a service request via the phone? I'm not going to bother, I want them to concentrate on the old timers and then I will barrage them!!!

No I was commenting on Nanonstan's dilemma. We put in one on 2/23 and it said assigned for response on 2/25. A useless endeavor in retrospect. I won't believe what they say when they do respond. I can't tell you I'll believe it if we get an approval notice. In all reality, the longer we wait the less I start to care...

very true, why do they just give out false information and lie to us when they clearly have no clue, we seem to know more them in regards to how the waiver cases work at this point!

I thought that it would be faster after NBC sent some cases out to the certain field office. But the fact is so disappointment. I was speechless after I read Aradeb's story yesterday.

I wonder now how many March filers are still waiting? And how many April filers are still waiting.

For easy counting I say first. I am one of May filers.

There are few March filers still waiting right?

In our thread there are around 15 April filers?
