I've been feeling the same way Shell, yesterday I was actually contemplating whether I should find the email addresses of every higher up in USCIS and sending them an earful, I doubt it would do any good, they don't give a damn

They most certainly do NOT. I blame it on the higher up individuals that seem to be purposely withholding our GC's, there is no accountability here. When you send them emails regarding a conference call or a request to unlock your account, they simply ignore it. They don't seem to care, don't acknowledge you, but they can take your money and let's be honest here, its not a cheap process. At the end of the day aren't we their customers? What do they say in their letter, let me look, "I sincerely regret any inconvenience caused by this situation and appreciate your patience as we work diligently to provide the level of service you should expect."

Level of service we should expect?!?!? Yeah right!!

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

That is your lawyers problem, they need to sort it out

He won't do anything, He insists that it was the correct place and he has done this before with no problems and that it was done in our best interest. I'm going to have to cut him loose and figure this out some how. Hopefully the GC will show up before Jun 6th!

In 2 weeks it will be exactly one year since my NOA1, wow who thought that it would take so long. I seriously feel like I am struck in between 2 countries right now and it's so soooo unfair that some people are getting it in a few months while others have to wait for 1 year. Frustrated

AOS Timeline

NOA - March 18, 2014

EAD - May 21, 2014

NPIW - June 27th

GC approved - March 20, 2015

EAD renewal

Can someone answer a few questions I have for renewing the EAD/AP card? I know it's been discussed on here but can't find all of those posts. This is what I do know: we send it about 120 days before expiration, and we don't have to pay a fee.

Questions I have are:

Are there key points for answering questions on the forms? Are there certain answers we should make sure to include or not include?

Do we have to submit new passport photos? Is there any other information we have to include in the package?

Thank You!

Here's our latest love note:

On February 26, 2015, your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number SRxxxxx, was completed.

Here ya go: http://www.uscis.gov/i-765

??where do we send our forms for renewal of EAD and AP ? is it the same place we sent our i-765 and i-131?

http://www.uscis.gov/i-765.

Spoke to a Tier 2 yesterday (not that pleasant). She said that the Chicago lockbox has not received the EAD renewal yet and that Lee's Summit may transfer the app to Chicago or send it back to us but we have to wait 60 days from when we mailed it out. then we can call back again. She also said that I can email lockbox support and put in a request for them to research it. I did that and received back a confirmation that they received it but they are also backlogged and could take 30 days! BUT I CAN NOT resend to the correct address untill I am contacted or the app is sent back. What?? So we just wait not knowing? It expires on Jun 6th! I was finally able to get an infopass appt.,but not untill Mar 18th. Nothing, I mean nothing else I can do untill then. I'm so very upset!

You should file a complaint with the Bar in your state. THat's his job to know where to send this stuff! It's not difficult to find the correct address! And then to do nothing to rectify his mistake, that's unethical to me.

I will at some point, I agree. But I don't have the mental strength at the moment. I'm trying to figure out what to do about this renewal. Plus, work and take care of family.

Level of service we should expect?!?!? Yeah right!!

Let me give you my Welcome to America.

My involvement with the government is extensive through my 23 years in the Air Force. You learn very early that when someone says to you, "I'm from the Government and I'm here to help," don't believe them...

The days of "Government of the people, by the people and for the people" ended a while back. It's now "from the government, by the government, for the government." What do you mean customer? Ha!! Sit down, shut up and be happy we let you keep so much of our money so you can live, eat and travel to work to make more of our money...

Executive decisions regarding immigration begin and end at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Washington , D.C...Hiring problems, hmmmm....

Cynical enough for you yet?

Lol, to be honest I am just don't know what they do, no visas seem to be issued in a hurry nor GC's, they obviously need a reshuffle or something to be more efficient. It's not as if they don't have the funds from all their customers.
