Notice of Potential Interview Waiver Case

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/user/151308-palmtrees/ So with this one no waiver letter, no interview no nothing. NOA1 at the beginning of July. So again no rhyming or reasoning. Hmmm.

Once again absolutely no logic behind this but I guess an approval is a good sign, they're working at least

Great news for PalmTrees. This is the first approval for a July 2014 NOA1 that we've seen. Very strange though when there are March filers still waiting. I have noticed that on these strangely 'fast' approvals that there always seems to be something that has happened on their case e.g. change of address, infopass ... maybe it's just coincidence.

Good morning all! I just checked my case and it said I had been approved. I quickly realised that I had clicked on the wrong receipt number and was looking at my AP. My heart rate did go up though!

Shell, the BBC is the Beeb isn't it? LOL. If not I've been saying it wrong for more years than I care to mention! :-)

Interview waiver letter of October you had yeah?

I read that wrong at first, I thought you got approved for GC :(

if I remember right, I got an email but nothing else, HOWEVER if they didn't, my old address is actually my in-laws address so it wouldn't matter so much.

My latest update on my case is from the Tier 2 Request: On February 25, 2015, your Filing Question, referral number WKXXXXXXXXDAL, was assigned to an officer for response.

My congressman's office forwarded the latest reply from USCIS (dated today) which indicated nothing new. My case is still at the NBC:

A review of our systems shows Case MSC1490924xxx, Form I-485, Axxx, filed by Mr. xxx xxx has been identified as a possible interview waiver case and is still currently held at the NBC pending a field office review. The interview waiver cases are being shipped to the USCIS field offices based on field office capacity. At this time the processing time is approximately 9-12 months.

The rep said to contact her again if there's no movement in 6 weeks, which will be when this supposed 12 months is up.

Wow speechless. You would think the time they took to issue a new EAD/AP they would actually use on approving a GC.

If her NOA's were undeliverable, her NPIW letter must have been too? Still, with her date of NOA, it's still way early for approval with a NPIW. :clock:

Not necessarily so as they go by the NOA date when publishing processing times and not the NPIW letter.

So we received the elusive green card today! I just wanted to post a couple of things to show the process (that happened for us - may be different for others) after you're approved just in case any of you are wondering, because frankly I've been sitting on pins and needles since the approval last Friday.

The Status-es

1. Your Case Status: Card/Document Production ... On DATE, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number XXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us. ... (No date given on when to expect it) - We received this on on Feb 20, 2015

2. Your Case Status: Decision ... On DATE, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome notice for Receipt Number XXX. ... (Approx 2 months as to when you'll receive card) We received this on Feb 23, 2015

3. Your Case Status: Card/Document Production ... On DATE we mailed your new card for Receipt Number XXX, to the address you gave us. ... (Approx 1 month as to when you'll received card) We received this on Feb 26, 2015

4. Card shows up in the mail! Priority Mail - Flat Rate Envelope / We received this on Feb 27, 2015.

The card does in fact come from the dungeon in Lee's Summit MO. (And as some of you already know, our case was adjudicated in Philadelphia PA whereas our local office is Tampa FL)

Also, I've attached a photo to show that green cards do in fact exist! And apparently they have wireless capabilities, but not when they are within their super sekret special envelopes. (Sorry, if you see the picture, you'll understand that last sentence).

Lastly, I just wanted to say thank you to all of you guys. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!!! I've been a lurker here most of the time, but the knowledge I gained from this site and from you guys, well B & I would not be where we are today without you, all of you. So from the bottom of my heart, Cheers!

I really hope to see you guys in about 21 months, because we're going to need you again come ROC.

Really glad to hear that you got the GC. Congratulations!

Thank you for sharing a very useful information for us. My date is very closed to you and we got the same NPIW date 07/10/2014. I am looking forward to getting mine soon.

Ok so USCIS has finally respond to my service request made about 3 weeks ago. My case is in Lawrence Field Office, even though the last three letters said QNS (Queens), so I guess those letters don't really mean anything.

"Your petition/application is still pending consideration at the USCIS Lawrence Field Office. We regret that we are not able to give you a timeframe for when we will complete the review of your petition/application."

The good news is that the case is no longer at NBS, so waiting for the approval any time now

i remember somebody said they got their GC approved very soon after they received the same response with yours .I think you will be getting it in a week  my response had never been like this ,it basically said same thing with the waiver letter
