I am just curious, lets say hypothetically, I will receive a GC next week and my Biometrics appointment is next Thursday as well. Does it make any sense of going there and get the biometrics done anyway, even with the GC?

I don't think so as when I had my biometrics done they said make sure you like this picture as this will be on your GC eventually. So I am assuming that if you get a GC it lasts two years (the photograph), until ROC.

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

GC  Conditional date:  05/26/2015

N400.  Application:      02/28/2018

Biometrics:                    02/22/2018

Waiting............    Roll my eyes again :(

Successful would be you not having to do a 2nd biometric appointment and having your GC instead!

His old posts don't indicate he has been on our thread, unless someone else spotted this approval when he announced it on the 10th of Feb. I think that was another one.

You're right I spotted it on the 9th of February. Still a very strange case, no interview, no waiver letter and all done in 4 months, although they did have to wait 11 months for their K1, perhaps USCIS felt bad about that?

So we received the elusive green card today! I just wanted to post a couple of things to show the process (that happened for us - may be different for others) after you're approved just in case any of you are wondering, because frankly I've been sitting on pins and needles since the approval last Friday.

The Status-es

1. Your Case Status: Card/Document Production ... On DATE, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number XXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us. ... (No date given on when to expect it) - We received this on on Feb 20, 2015

2. Your Case Status: Decision ... On DATE, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome notice for Receipt Number XXX. ... (Approx 2 months as to when you'll receive card) We received this on Feb 23, 2015

3. Your Case Status: Card/Document Production ... On DATE we mailed your new card for Receipt Number XXX, to the address you gave us. ... (Approx 1 month as to when you'll received card) We received this on Feb 26, 2015

4. Card shows up in the mail! Priority Mail - Flat Rate Envelope / We received this on Feb 27, 2015.

The card does in fact come from the dungeon in Lee's Summit MO. (And as some of you already know, our case was adjudicated in Philadelphia PA whereas our local office is Tampa FL)

Also, I've attached a photo to show that green cards do in fact exist! And apparently they have wireless capabilities, but not when they are within their super sekret special envelopes. (Sorry, if you see the picture, you'll understand that last sentence).

Lastly, I just wanted to say thank you to all of you guys. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!!! I've been a lurker here most of the time, but the knowledge I gained from this site and from you guys, well B & I would not be where we are today without you, all of you. So from the bottom of my heart, Cheers!

I really hope to see you guys in about 21 months, because we're going to need you again come ROC.

So if card is produced today I shud get card next week?

I think so. It's what happened with ours.

Don't get me started, I might say something I regret...

Rick Grimes was right, "...We are the walking dead..."

Fingers still crossed for ya!

But you raise a solid point - it's never stated what caused the outbreak in The Walking Dead, I'm wondering if it wasn't started in the dungeon of Lee's Summit with some poor USCIS intern going deep in the bowels to retrieve a chosen few NWIP cases to send out....tis a thought.
