Don't lose hope. I think approval notifications are sent out at specific times of the day and it's the automated system that's in charge of that. So let's be optimistic and think they approved a bunch of apps before leaving.... :clock:

Im thinking of poor Natonstan his case is with Dallas. They are saying on the weather channel to stay at work and wait until the rush is over, so hopefully they might do this and press the approval card button whilst they are waiting!:)

You really need to wrap up, I shovelled the drive way last week and the pain radiating from my hands even with gloves on was excruciating upon coming back indoors. My husband has since bought me some warmer gloves.

I emailed my congressman. Y called because I never got no notice. I went to my local office to see what is going on. I emailed those people thru my .gov email last week and put a read receipt notification to let me know they read it. And they did. And finally today is a great day. But I'm still going to keep the wife in the dark about this

That's cruel keeping your wife in the dark. lol, bet she will be SO happy when you do tell her! I guess the moral in this tale is to hound them until they get fed up and issue it!

I'm sure you will, it makes no sense issuing another EAD card, when it would be just as easy to issue a GC!

I am just curious, lets say hypothetically, I will receive a GC next week and my Biometrics appointment is next Thursday as well. Does it make any sense of going there and get the biometrics done anyway, even with the GC?

AOS Timeline

EAD - May 21, 2014

NPIW - June 27th

GC approved - March 20, 2015

EAD renewal
