Did my daily log on to USCIS. Still 'On March 29, 2014, we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485...'

BUT as of today my service request from earlier this month has been assigned to an officer, which is the most action I've seen since July. No great hopes for any useful information but it's nice to see someone has at least glanced at my application.

It wouldn't surprise me if some of the more sadistic higher ups in USCIS frequent this forum and get that "thrill up their leg" reading about our trivials...Hi guys, I'm not happy with you...but you don't care anyway...

Of course they come on here, I have no doubt about that! I reckon they sent out a "ghost letter", to Natonstan, just for "***** and thrills of it". I think I have read posts in the past here, where they have been on the site and put their side of the story about topics .

To be honest wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if one of us on this forum was a "mole". I am sure they probably laugh at our "one liners" too! Let's be honest here, I am sure they "Google", immigration discussions just to see what their customers say about them. I know I would!

Yep and Im sure they all looked at your file and laughed their "little cotton socks off", knowing you would see the action and get all excited!! Lol.

Sorry, can't help my sarcasm regarding the process. I hope you hear very shortly, I think they have a tendency to nip it in the bud before a year is up, so we all don't do a "merry little dance" and complain to the ombudsman or higher.

And a penalty if they approve too many...They do remember that there is no GC quota for family-based I-485's , don't they? Sometimes I wonder...

Just thought you'd guys like to know, so you have hope, that we were approved today! We submitted our application late March and had a NPIW of June 27th! There's movement! My medical was done November 2013 and I had no RFE so fingers crossed that you guys don't as well! I also did one service request early January. I first got a letter from the Boston office saying that my case wasn't there (which I already knew) and that they'd be forwarding it to the appropriate location. On Feb. 14th I got an email from USCIS saying the usual due to workload factors not related to my case yada yada yada my case is delayed....and then 9 days letter card production!

For those of you who have seen the light at the end of the AOS tunnel I have a a few questions. How long from receiving your welcome notice did you have the card in your hand? As you can see below it says it should arrive April 24th...it takes two months?! And what is ADIT processing? Hopefully not another headache!

"On February 23, 2015, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome Notice for Receipt Number MSC149XXXXXX1. Please follow the
instructions in the notice. Your new permanent resident card should arrive by April 24, 2015, after this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later."
