I guess since my SR ends in DAL I should finally admit that it's likely in Dallas, my local office, I hope that doesn't mean i'll end up with an interview after all this time like some people, I pray that's not the case because I'd feel like all this wait was for nothing!

That can only be a good thing though, they were processing cases a month before you as of 31st of December, so your time is nigh! I wouldn't mind an interview, as I would be asking, "Hey Guys, what is going on with the delays and such"? I am going to miss you guys when you get your GC's but I have no doubt I will see you all in ROC, asking why there are more delays!!

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

GC  Conditional date:  05/26/2015

N400.  Application:      02/28/2018

Biometrics:                    02/22/2018

Waiting............    Roll my eyes again :(

I guess you're right, I'm probably wrong to try and predict things because as we've all experienced it just leaves us disappointed, and don't worry Shell I'll be sticking around here after I get my card and I'm sure others will just because we've established ourselves in this struggle LOL

I just filed my thirds service request yesterday. All three have ended in 'NYC' (my local office), even though I confirmed after the last two that my case was still at NBC. I wouldn't place too much weight in what those letters tell you, unfortunately.

We actually have all become quite close with this thread. It's a journey a shared experience, we have laughed, cried, shouted etc. And the journey will continue until Naturalisation and beyond for some! I just want to hear some one on here this week getting their GC. I was given some pink champagne for Valentines and I want an excuse to open it!!

Thanks for that, that's what I've always been thinking, it just says DAL because that's my local office, I've never had a physical SR request sent to me by mail which is why I was waiting on this one to arrive and see if it says something other than Dallas

Ntherman is NYC or one of the NY field offices and it was at the NBC until around the 5th of Feb it has just been transferred to NYC, so the chances are the same might or may have happened with your case!

yups, all of my fingers are crossed including my husband's! :D

i know, how helpful..not! oh well i sent another service request yesterday but my referral number ends with MSC instead of the usual TAM which is Tampa where i reside, so weird..

Hope i wont receive any RFEs for medical etc. gosh, that would be really terrible! Anyways, i finally received my NOA1 for my EAD Renewal application, notice date is Feb. 8

Interesting, trying to understand what MSC stands for and all I can think is that its at the NBC at Missouri? Can any one else figure out this reference number?

Missouri Service Center - one of the euphemisms for NBC or Lee's Summit...Since all I-485''s are conceived there , they get that prefix.

I received a response from my service request only after my senator got involved. In the upper right hand corner it states that the response came from National Benefits Center, but the receipt# ended in HOU. Which I am assuming Houston Field Office. The response stated the same blah, blah, blah about a delay in processing cases.

Here's the thing though, according the original OP it wasn't the prefix from what I have read.

Not sure why they would use MSC as a suffix. Odd...As the following post best demonstrates, the suffix can represent the location of the case (best illustrated when your suffix is not your geographical located field office) or simply an acknowledgement of where you live (where your case should or would have gone in better times) and it still actually enjoys the zip code 64081.

I received a response from my service request only after my senator got involved. In the upper right hand corner it states that the response came from National Benefits Center, but the receipt# ended in HOU. Which I am assuming Houston Field Office. The response stated the same blah, blah, blah about a delay in processing cases.

This is explained above. Your case is still in the process of developing the proud petina that our cases get after their long storage in the pleasant Missouri air. Wish I could be more encouraging, but I cannot. Been there, done that many times...I know longer get a headache from beating my head against a wall...It's always there anyway...

News Flash!! An escaped NPIW case from NBC in Lee's Summit is suspected in the hostage situation at the USCIS Field office at Broadway and Worth St in Manhattan that has been ongoing since Feb. 4th...Hostage negotiators are tight lipped, though inside officers reveal that this rogue case says it will not surrender until "it sees the green..."

Well it took long enough, 16 days after Tier 2 said it would be requested by the NYC field office, 13 days after a General Inquiry from that office said that our case is "...under active examination...", it arrived in the NYC office on the 4th of Feb. That is the news that we got from Tier 2 this evening. That's the first movement since the "...Finger Print Fee was Accepted..." on 4/3/14. I wish I can tell you that this means anything for the near future, but we are more hopeful this evening than we were this afternoon. I'd rather it rot in NYC, at least I might be able to smell it on a southern breeze...

It's amazing how much digging a NPIW case can do in 10 months with plastic foons (or sporks) and toothpicks from its jailers discarded takeout dinners. I'm proud of our case... No mo' MO, or at least until ROC. I never liked KC anyway...

That's Great news!!! Holy cow, you can make me laugh though, even during a non comical situation!!
