Hi Guys. We are also now at ten months and waiting (April 4th filers). We received our interview waiver letter in early july and have contacted our congressmen (little use!).

Today however, we received a REF for a vaccination supplement. It is not for the medical but point 5. We already sent this in with our original AOS in March (I checked our photocopied pack to be sure). So was wondering if anybody had any advice?

Do we resubmit the original - with a letter stating this?

Or given that I would now be in need of another flu update - are they asking for a resubmitted vaccination schedule?

Really appreciate any advice - has anybody else received this?

Out of shear curiosity, what office sent your RFE? We were sent one from Philly asking for a complete new medical. I'm just wondering if there's a rhyme or reason to them...

Cool, but what is IO?

Out of shear curiosity, what office sent your RFE? We were sent one from Philly asking for a complete new medical. I'm just wondering if there's a rhyme or reason to them...

There is no rhyme nor reason. I am thinking that once a month or so they get a batch and distribute them to different field offices. Where you live doesn't seem to be the place where they process in more than 50 percent of cases!

One simply wonders what moron is in charge of deciding when a particular PWI case can leave NBC and which stay. They must be using some sort of new calender; maybe 2014 isn't after 2007 after all. No animosity is intended for those who get the "miracle" interviews or those who get the "lottery winning" early PWI decisions, they were just in the right place at the right time; but this simply stinks. We've seen a bunch of 3/31 NOA's get approved while at the same time at least three posters in the past couple of days have NOA's from 3/14 with no decision and one just got told to wait 120 more days...The plain and simple truth is that we are involved with a schizophrenic and sadistic bureaucracy...Stop this train, I wanna get off...

Oh, I know they're randomly sent to other offices (or in some cases off into the infinite abyss it seems) but I was more curious as to which offices are sending out medical rfes - maybe it has to do with their training/management/etc.

So far (since Jan 1 2015) there's been 2 requesting full medicals in this thread - ours out of Philly and one (that was quickly approved after the new med was sent in) from NC. And now this one from LA just requesting the vaccination record again.

I realize I'm trying to connect dots that were never meant to be connected, but with the exception of repeatedly checking status every 5 mins, its all I can do.

A long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.......... SMH, who needs to go to sleep for nightmares? Woken up looked at posts and just shaking my head in utter disbelief again! Espered 12 I am SO sorry that they have done absolutely nothing. Disgraceful!

As for renewing medicals etc, shouldn't they be sent the bill for the added UNNECESSARY expense? Some people have to turn down jobs as they don't have a GC and then they are told because USCIS are way behind processing to go get a civil surgeon to do another medical and get a HUGE bill for the pleasure of it! I try to be positive most of the time as most of you know. I tend to see the glass half full but with this process I am teetering on admitting defeat! One word that keeps echoing in my mind regarding this farce is ACCOUNTABILITY, ACCOUNTABILITY, ACCOUNTABILITY! Any way still praying for all of you and wishing i could change this for you, but I can't!

We actually filed in June 2, 2014 with NOA 1 dated June 21, 2014. NIPW letter was dated September 10, 2014. Looks like there is some hope after all. Good luck to all those still in progress. May you see results soon.

Bob & Orlando

Looking at your local CIS Office processing times, it seems as if they are now into June. I wonder if those timescales might actually mean something for K-1 AOS?

AOS:

NOA: June 16th, 2014

NPIW: September 29th, 2014

Received Green Card: June 13th, 2015.

RoC:

California Service Center

Submitted: March 22nd, 2017

Completed: October 5th, 2018

N-400:

Submitted: December 11th, 2019

You would think so, but unfortunately it doesn't always go to your local field office, One guy whos local office should be in Pittsburgh case went to Florida, so those times mean nothing unless you know where your case is. On the other hand you have some people told their case is still at NBC, so there is absolutely no logic to who gets their case seen , where or even when! I am not expecting any word for months and if I do I expect something negative, like a new medical or more delays!

Just realized this time next week (25th) I'll have officially been here for a year

I realised that a couple of weeks ago, you left pretty quickly after your interview at the embassy, By this stage you should be counting downs the days to ROC, not still waiting for a conditional GC!

So for the past few days whilst posting on here, I have been looking at various posts trying to shed any light on what is going on. Well I might be right off the trail,, but this is what I have found. I have found that 1-130 applications have been being processed in record time. One person sent off an application around Jan 5th and already has their NOA2 in hand, another person was told that their petition before they sent it off will take no more than 90 days. When researching the delay regarding AOS, an article mentioning DACA caught my attention and they said there had also been a back log of 1-130 petitions. So I am sat here wondering if they are concentrating on the 1-130's and letting everything else slide? Just a thought, but it does seem to tally.

Another thing, I looked on the USCIS website yesterday as I tend to do, part of my daily routine now and also to see if there was any news regarding the temporary stop with DACA. Not a word! Today there is a banner that disappears after a couple of seconds on their website, but its not filed in news or alerts and you would think it would be top news to inform all those people who are filing under it! Hmmm..........
