We just received our notice that Orlando's Green Card has been approved and will be mailed within 10 days. WOW, that was a SURPRISE. Our NIPW was dated 10 Sep 14.

If it helps anyone, I've been in contact with my local congressman. His office contacted Immigration, and was told that my case should be decided in the next four weeks (filed NPIW 7/10).

While this may just be useful for those in LA county (where I live, and believe my case is as my service request ended in LAC), those in other areas might benefit from contacting their congressmen too.

Our dates are the same,,even the wedding date.

There is a white list with points of missing documentation. Point 4 is a request for a medical. Point 5 requests your vaccination supplement.

The guidelines are thus:

For purposes of the immigration medical examination, the flu season starts on October 1 and ends on March 31 each year. If your immigration medical examination is during this period, you are required to have the seasonal flu vaccine. If you have an immigration medical examination completed between April 1 and September 30, when it is not the flu season for immigration purposes, you are not required to document that you have received the seasonal flu vaccine.

Which doesn't actually provide any guidelines - as I did have my flu jab when I had my immigration medical examination back in November 2014. Very tempted to resend in original and wait and see if they send another REF. Given how slow and incompetent they have been - it will probably take them to after March 31st to reply anyway.

What frustrates me the most, is how unaccountable this whole process is. They make mistakes again and again. Break their own deadlines. And refuse to tell you any information that is helpful or useful. And charge you thousands of dollars for the experience. Excuse the rant.

I went to the Mcbride260808's timeline. I found that his medical appointment is in May which is between April and September. That means do not need to get the flu. Please give me some help on this.

I went to the Mcbride260808's timeline. I found that his medical appointment is in May which is between April and September. That means do not need to get the flu. Please give me some help on this.

Hi Dengzhe, I had my biometrics completed in May 14 - my medical was in the UK in November '13 and I was required to have the flu jab then. We are sending a second copy of the vaccination schedule with a covering letter stating this. I will let you know how they respond.

For information - our local office is Baltimore and our case is definitely being adjudicated in Los Angeles.

We actually filed in June 2, 2014 with NOA 1 dated June 21, 2014. NIPW letter was dated September 10, 2014. Looks like there is some hope after all. Good luck to all those still in progress. May you see results soon.

This news makes me even sicker to my stomach.

Actually we do have a powerball as well as a mega millions ticket. At this time, we have absolutely NO IDEA which field office adjudicated our application. We are just happy that it took place. We were coming up on the 6 month date next month. I really hope they will get on the stick and start adjudicating all your applications. Now if our state, Arkansas, would recognize our same-sex marriage all would be well.

Wow Ive only been out to Perkins for tea and to Wally World to get some bleach and I come back to all of these posts, 28 altogether!! My head is spinning right now.. I hope I don't have to have another flu jab due to their incompetence. I actually got flu when I was in England at Christmas.

Glad for the people who got their GC and yeah they should do the Power Ball, probably the only ones who will be allowed to claim a prize as the rest of us aren't confirmed residents yet, we are still in no man's land. If this wait continues and it extends to 15 months they might just as well tell us that they have cancelled our application for a conditional card and let us apply for ROC!

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

 

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.
